Add ons and computer resources

i definately agree damage meters were resource hogs but the worst offenders i found were generally the more utility and profession type ones, I had that TSM thing for a short time and it was monstering its way into triple digit memory usage quite rapidly.

Without specs it’s all spec-ulation, pun intended.

It also depends on the add on. Most are benign. A computer manufactured with higher end models of processors and motherboards are never going to see any difference at all

nah my system is getting old rocking a skylake i5 and a 970.

i have the same (bad in raid/good in m+) performances with or without addons.

i think addons will only affect performances if they are proccing a bunch of nonstop lua errors. decent/uptodate addons wont cause performance issues at all.

Back in the day it was (in Retail Wrath I crippled my frame rate at one point by installing too many addons), but if you have a modern PC I doubt any addons would cause noticeable slow down or FPS loss.
