I can actually get behind this in a way. It would at least allow those accused to defend themselves from BS/baseless accusations.
So tired of the automated system that is so easliy abused.
You can sue any entity, doesn’t matter if they’re private or public.
If you can get a judge that believes it should be decided by a jury, and you get a jury of your peers, it’s not difficult at all.
For banning you? Yeah no they’re completely held off from that kind of nonsense. But adhering to the constitution of the country you originate and operate from? That’s not held off at all and Activision Blizzard has recently been in discussion between a number of senators/congressmen/women.
Their games are all losing players en-masse, their profits are hitting record lows, and they now have the ire of the government. It’s not hard to sign onto a petition already started for a state senator to take action.
You’re either too young to understand that, or just not educated on how the third branch works. And no I’m not talking about druids.
which part of the Constitution is it that you think Activision is breaking?
bet you my gold it’s freeze peach.
I ain’t taking that bet without knowing how much I’d lose.
They used to. Back in the day, if someone was griefing lowbies, GMs would show up in person and we got to witness people getting kicked out of the game.
… you literally signed an EULA that states they can kick you or ban you at any time, for any reason. You own nothing.
Just stop. You have no freaking clue what you’re talking about.
I’m not sure why giving people the impression that they can argue, bicker, and rules-lawyer their case would be a good idea when that has never been an option. They would also likely need to employ hundreds of GMs to do this in actual realtime, and while those people were going to all that effort other tickets wouldn’t be getting answered.
I’ve noticed that you and the other 2 people who liked your post, have HUNDREDS of posts each week, and they’re all liked by the same people, every single time, across the board.
It’s a little strange and something to take note of.
Something worth taking more note of is that you failed to answer any questions directed at you.
Nah just something for mention on record. Nothing else to it.
Sure bud
I hope Square Enix doesn’t pay you very much, you’re not very good at this.
As you say mad’am.
No but really, I’m highly curious what part of the Constitution you think is being violated by Blizzard.
Article and section if you don’t mind.
Yes, especially considering the source of this video from a clown that gives zero sources lol. Hard to compare with Japanese culture too.
At least they didn’t steal breast milk.
He’s just upset someone dared mention FF 14.
Since I’m home on medical leave, dealing with after effects of COVID, rheumatoid arthritis and currently kidney stones that need surgery… yes, I am here. Not that it takes much time to post.
Do you know math?
How many strawmans are you going to throw out? Is it so shocking that people might be in agreement with others? I’ve also had heated debates with the same people who may agree. Is there suddenly some huge conspiracy there, too?
What a ridiculous pile of nonsense to bring up.
Take the L and move on. You actually have no point of argument here.
I dunno, every time I’ve dealt with Blizzard’s Customer Service when it came to things like missing items and character transfer bugs and what-not, they’ve always been prompt and courteous.
This was back around WoD, so I dunno if it’s different now.
I’m all for this, but first they need hire more GM’s
One of the few who are set to “Forever” on my ignore list.
I’m willing to bet nearly every major corporation— video game or not— has sexual harassment cases.
What I don’t understand is how people define the games themselves just because there were lawsuits at companies. If you like the game, you like the game.
