3 times in 1 day, we get close to timing the key but sombody leaves right before the last boss because it wont be timed, they need publicly shamed and its pathedic that blizzard doesnt record those as raidor.io cant show the fers who leave keys. There are to amny of those who waist 45 min of 4 other players time and leave because they wont time and they need to be flogged infront of everyone for it.
Can’t r/io fix this themselves? IIRC, the armory shows the results of your runs, including who you were in a group with. Or their addon could grab that info while you play. So, if r/io just allowed people to rate other players that they ran with, you’d all be able to mark the leavers and your problem would be fixed.
Or would it?
2 Things are happening here
-
Good behaviour is not being rewarded - If a person stays through a key which is going to deplete he is only rewarded with a 20% Chance at loot that “Could” be good for him + Vault. This is not worth their time - Imagine spending 2 hours in a keystone only to not finish it or just get anima.
-
Bad behaviour is not being punished - Blizzard has pretty much done nothing about this so the community feels they can just leave whenever they want because there aren’t any repercussions.
A fix to this would be a voting system in Keys -
- Reward good behaviour - anyone should be allowed to start a vote to surrender key, If 3-4 people click surrender yes then the run is over. If a person leaves without surrender passing through then they get marked with some form of punishment. However if they key has gone 25% Over time then anyone is free to leave without any repercussions. This should prevent it from turning into a hostage situation.
- Reward good behaviour - Increase rewards at end to 2 baseline with 3 being if you finish it on time.
Sounds like a PUG life problem.
The accessibility of being able to find groups 24/7 has drawbacks.
Well it already tracks untimed keys. So all you would need to add is keys they left but it should also include if it was before or after the timer expired.
Wouldn’t that be equal to creating an addon to “ban” people groups from “unwanted servers”?
Loot is the biggest factor. M+, no matter how high you climb, cannot trump raid ilvl and on top of that you only get 1 piece at the end for untimed keys. A 20% chance at basically doodoo loot but more likely, 35 anima. I’ve always preferred a pve currency that they dish out for completed keys. Maybe let them buy certain pieces of gear or a lotto box to roll a random dungeon item similar to great vault but lower ilvl. Or be able to upgrade pve gear same as pvp ones. Literally anything to make it so finishing a key means something.
