does exploiting the gameplay include the gold farmers?
when are you guys going to get them from stop harassing us with mail spams I get 2, 3 on a daily troll by then.? how bout doing gold audits to players until u all bring in the wow token this will continual what part of the gaming rules u all are going to say what’s wrong whats right all or nothing how bout enforcing them all now that’s a idea ???
Right now on Incendius alliance I can see 16 likely bots in ZG and 9 likely bots in DM. Despite banning so many accounts, there are still bots hacking these instances to farm arcane crystals. I don’t understand why you can’t hire 1-2 people to actively monitor servers (especially instances) in real time to identify and ban these accounts faster. Letting this continue punishes players that want to farm for items / gold legitimately and makes the game less fun.
Blizzard,Imagine someone who is legit and either running dungeons on repeat or farming gold from them, think of that player who is restricted when they themselves pay you a monthly fee and aren’t breaking any rules, stop punishing your customers and punish the people you are trying to target, getting old…
The bots pickpocketing in BrD is going to crash the economy of every server long before another ban wave happens. You can’t just ignore raw gold like this.
And then there’s the bots straight teleporting to BL spawns…
Please fix this. It demoralizes and makes every legit players time farming or getting that item worth nothing.
@kaivax - Cant you guys just start purchasing small amounts of gold from the 100’s of websites advertising classic wow gold on google…
once the RMT player arrives to do the transaction you can ban the account, and any account associated to it… ist just like how fbi follows the money IRL to catch the criminals…
I have often wondered this myself. Blizzard could setup undercover sting operations, when the dealer shows up to make the exchange, you ban the account and any account they have.
I mean this is Police Operations 101 here.

also gee. I REALLY WONDER IF THESE ARE BOTS/GOLD SELLERS. VERY HARD TO TELL. I mean, they’re only ever there EVERY SINGLE NIGHT FOR 16 HOURS and they have NO GUILD. Then when a node spawns they instantly pop out of stealth to grab the black lotus or rich thorium vein. Gee i REALLY REALLY WONDER. Blizzard just doesn’t care enough to hire more people. That’s all it is. Multi-billion dollar company, everyone.
What actions are you taking against raid leaders running scripts to loot white scarab keys from people in the raid?
The default master loot UI does not allow for this, therefore it would seem the intention of making the scarab keys “white” items, was for random lottery to raid members, not to be master looted to one person.
pog blizz keep it up
Alot of guilds do this because raid memebers dont loot every mob. It literally just makes sure your raid doesn’t miss super important white drops in raids. Especially when the chests in a full clear drop like 6k worth of mats some nights via idols for a raid and are required for gear.
What makes the guild bank more important than the raiders?
Why weren’t people using this script to loot core hounds?
Answer,
People who run guilds are greedy, and if they can run a script to steal loot they will.
What about pugs? Is this ok for the pug leader to mystery loot and thieve the keys from puggers?
At this point in the game, why is it accepted practice for guilds doing pug runs to reserve mats from dungeons and raids like it is to be expected?
Now instead of reserving a couple hundred gold in firey cores and elementium, its literally stealing 10000G out from under the noses of the raiders.
Generally speaking they do this because the pugs wouldn’t be in AQ40 anyway at that point. So they get a shot at gear they normally wouldn’t get without having to put the time in with a guild that uses a dkp/loot council, and the main core of raiders that honestly most of the time are hard carrying some of the pugs get a benefit for their raid team. I dont even bother doing common level items in pugs most of the pug runs we do the threshold is rare.
And you can always make your own pugs and not reserve any mats. It takes time and effort to make successful pugs so I’m also not so worried about people taking mats/boes for the effort of putting them together.
As for why they don’t use it on corehounds is it doesn’t work. Even if the corehound drops nothing, its not skinnable until the person that random rolled to be able to loot it in the raid clicks on it.
People pug everything. Guilds are not the only players capable of clearing the content, and it should never be accepted that a guild bank gets to have 10000g in scarab keys because they spammed LFG for an hour to get people.
Guilds are not elite, the content is easy, and discord servers are free.
Your argument completely bypasses the fact the intention of the keys being white, is so they CANNOT be master looted.
Filthy, greedy, immoral guild leaders run the script to bypass the in game master loot threshold.
It is an exploit to be able to do this, as it is literally stealing gold from people.
If a guild member chooses to hand over their keys, so be it… but the CHOICE needs to be there.
This will continue to get reported until it is patched out, or addressed as intented.
These scripts were available in vanilla too and could be used. I’m not sure that it wasn’t intended. You also have the option to simply not go to those pugs or run your own as well.
The fact it is not intended, is because it was not built into the UI. NOBODY used these scripts in vanilla, it is a recent phenomena.
If the keys were meant to be master looted, they would have been green or blue or purple.
It is incredibly clear they were meant to be a lottery to the raider’s for looting mobs, and not something to be master looted.
There is not one official source anywhere that informs players how to bypass the master loot interface.
This type of shenanigans going unchecked is the primary reason for me quitting the game.
Except all these API’s and plug in scripts were datamined in vanilla and were never actioned back then either. Just because they are more wide spread now doesn’t mean they didn’t happen back then as well. Alos you could simply run the pugs and get rid of the problem in all the raids you run if it bothers you so much. I mean I go to pugs that hard reserve things alot of the time because most of it I dont care about at all. Just enjoy playing he game man.
Woohoo! Thanks Blizz!
Considering its on per character now, botters could just get 10 accounts and bot, wow they really fixed the issue didnt they, I almost wonder why they didnt implement this into retail when retail had a botting issue…
