Act of Kindness Challenge

Screenshot part was a utopian hope to create a thread where people could look at images of people doing random good deeds. I should of known better though. lol.

I try to help others in the game when I see they may need some help on something. I NEVER even considered making a screenshot or posting what I did. Seems a little creepy to me.

Was venturing across Azeroth and found a level 33 adventurer in warmode, I decided to give him a hand on how to level quicker. I summoned my pet called Buyboostfriend and killed him many times to get his attention! I pointed at my pet whilst I did it. So I can say this was a double act of Kindness I helped Blizz advertise and showed this player how to level quicker!

I mostly just grab screenshots of my randomly breaking the game.

I did run around with a healer and someone that was leveling last night in the incursion after a random group invite. Tanking all the things and keeping them from getting ganked. The leveling dude was pretty stoked we stuck around to help him finish his stuff out.

Come to think of it, there were a lot of random group invites while I was doing my rounds last night. It was much later than I normally do them, so maybe it’s a late night thing.

It’s more like you want to be acknowledged for doing an act rather than doing it out of good will. It just feels forced in a bad way.

It reminds me of people donating money during random events and expecting the announcer to read their name and donation message.

Back in legion I was talking with someone about the Sandstone drake and how I got it during cata. They were on my realm and really wanted the mount, so I bought it for them. I think it was going for around 100k at the time. They were so grateful that they spent around a month sending me random resources, raid consumables, and battle pets.

Well, I had often stayed at the invasion points and when someone of the Horde came to kill the boss, I would heal it with my priest so the guy would need like 4 or 5 people to kill it. I guess I was kind to provide raid training. lol

typical forums. Someone tries to encourage people to do kind deeds and create a place where people can see the community being good to eachother…and said person gets accused of being selfish tot. /facepalm. Humanity is hopeless.

Well, if you doing good to show off, you are selfish. If you need someone to applaud you for that, you are selfish. If you need to be told you are nice, you are selfish. So no, it is not wrong.

If you doing good not for selfish reasons, it does not matter if you are the one doing or not, you would not need to be complimented, praised or rewarded for it.

So, no. It is selfish.

I really hope this isn’t a new realization.

Good to share once in a while.

Well I just helped a horde last night to fight the weekly elite boss in eternal blossom. After the kill, he stayed, and it spawned again, he helped me back.
Anduin can hate me now.
