As most of you know, I'm Neall, your friendly warrior tank from Medivh and I help people earn Achievements!

I am truly humbled today to be selected by Blizzard as a WoW MVP - which I see as both confirmation and acknowledgement of how helpful I (and the other 14 super awesome MVP's) have been to the WoW community and at the same time a charge to me to continue to help people #AchieveMoreWithNeall. My appointment comes with no NEW super powers, if you don't count green text in the Warcraft Forums and the ability to call myself a WoW MVP. I'm really not that different from anyone else, I put my armor on one leg at a time. It's just, when I put my armor on, 29 other people usually earn an achievement. #ThatsLewd #AlsoFunny #AlsoTrue. If you're looking for some metrics at the time of this posting, I've led over 1,500 OpenRaid events and received over 17,000 - 5 star reviews there. (250,000 Achievement Assists is a conservative estimate.) I helped several groups of 30 people earn Stamp Stamp Revolution at current content, when you actually had to dodge several rounds of stampers (we called them Stamp Stamp Revolution Parties (I - I don't see how that's a party)). And, at the time of this post, have helped 49 groups achieve Show Me Your Moves - the most difficult raiding achievement in WoW (excluding current Mythic Progression). #50 Soon (TM).

Seriously, as always, you can find me leading achievement hunters to Glories, Mounts, Titles and other Rewards at OpenRaid, where I'm also an MVP, the Achievements Discord, where I'm a Host, my guild - Shattered Fates on Medivh, where I'm the Social Officer, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, the WoW Forums and in other far flung corners of the internet. Some people join in for the Achievements, some for the sweet loot rules, some for the bad jokes and others for the singing. Most people just want to hear "the speech", but everyone keeps coming back for the two easy rules that guide most of what I do: #NoDrama #HaveFun .

Both the Gnomes, and the Dwarves are mad at me now?

Legacy Achievements happen on Fridays and Mondays at 5 pm Central Time (Horde one day / Alliance the other - we swap days at the end of each rotation) - we cycle through:
2 weeks of SMYM
Panda Raider
Thundering Raider
Orgrimmar Raider
Highmaul Week
Blackrock Foundry Week
Hellfire Raider
then back to 2 weeks of SMYM
Nothing this week . . . for . . . reasons
Next week is Blackrock Foundry week, then Hellfire, then 2 weeks of SMYM.

Highly recommend, Neall for all of your dungeon and raid achievement needs. Great raid leader as I've been in a few groups of his. :-)

Also, Please let me know when doing SMYM again as well please. Would love to knock that achievement out as it's my last Mists of Pandaria raid achieve to earn.

We run SMYM about 4 times (2 Alliance / 2 Horde) every 2 months. Next batch is up next week

Looked on Openraid and didn't see it there so I am wondering do you do the chosen title runs and if so how high item level I am 941.

Legionkiller - I do indeed run Chosen runs on OpenRaid. They are very popular events - I had over 100 people signed up for today's run. Unfortunately, I can only take 19 people to each run and I only have a few characters appropriately geared myself and a limited amount of time to lead the runs. So, the group generally contains players who are 965 plus - usually 970 plus as I use ilevel to help choose the group best capable of success. Although Ilevel is a poor predictor of performance, I do not have the time to review logs of 100 signups.

The minimum to sign up for the runs is 950 - which is why at 941 you do not generally see them as OpenRaid tends to only show you raids for which you are eligible. There are other people who lead groups as well as groups selling runs.

It is not entirely clear that the Achievement will be going away - it currently shows as obtainable in the beta and on the PTR.

Hello Neall, I love this post and it's great to see someone so helpful with relation to achievments! I've started playing again these past several months, but I haven't been "hardcore" into the game since the days of Ventrilo so I just had a few questions. I'm reading up on Open Raid and Discord as we speak, and would I be correct in assuming these are the best ways to get in touch/sign up for my chance at glory?

Also wondering if a headset is required, or just the ability to hear voice chat.
Lastly, how do I create a new account on Open Raid? Maybe I am getting blind in my old age, but I only see the option to log in to an existing account.

Aye, Discord is required but you only need to be able to listen.

I'll use OpenRaid until there's a better alternative (it's dying due to lack of support from the site owner). When you go to http://openraid.zergid.com/ in the upper right is the log in and password - but if you need to create a site - its a big green button on the left in the middle that says create my free account.

Openraid is dead as a door nail now. I'm on the achievement discord but never see any groups for Neals runs?
