Accessing Shadowlands Zones

i have no idea how to use these forums. super confusing. anyway, i’m a returning player and want to get to zereth mortis on my alt. i did the questline on my main years ago. i paid 80k for a summon to zereth. which worked. but i’d like to be able to come back to zerteth later.

i turned on low level quests in oribos. there isn’t anything there. i’m level 80 on my new ‘main/alt’. no quests there. nothing. board in stormwind has nothing. chromie time has nothing. stormwind has nothing in the keep or the docks.

i’m super confused how anyone is supposed to get to shadowlands once they reach max level. guessing they aren’t and t hat blizz is trying to prevent it but i wanna go there. seems weird i know. well, if anyone knows how to get there, please let me know! thanks!

It’s bugged right now, you can’t progress past the introduction quests.

yeah so i got to Darion Mograine in front of Stormwind who did in fact have a quest called “Shadowlands: A Chilling Summons” however, after accepting to skip the story/having heard before, and being teleported to Oribos, the questline dies.

it does indeed seem bugged. shame. kinda wanted to play this game but stuff like this makes it super hard

It’s tough how they have the game built, in competitors like FFXIV you have the story that you have to go through and it’s a very linear path that is required to go through in an exact order.
With WoW being 20 years old it’s really tough to layer things properly with all the expansions and have everything still accessible.
