When ion trivialized path finder to a day or so or gave ANY version of flight without it, he admitted it no longer serves it’s intended original purpose
Exactly. All of those are pointless attention seeking trolling. None of them have any reason to be in this thread because none of this affects their game in the least. They just have nothing else to do so they come into these threads to taunt and harass players who are asking for the same treatment they got getting their version of flight. All I see is a bunch of juvenile behavior
They ALL know that THIS is what its about.
NONE of them need to be in this thread.
NONE of this issue affects ANY of THEIR game and they ALL KNOW IT.
when and how YOU get steady flight has ZERO bearing on ANY of their game.
They come into these threads to mock, insult and harass players having trouble with skyriding because they enjoy the reaction they get because theyre trolls.
TBC: can, you didn’t have flying until 70 originally.
Wrath: CAN, you didn’t have flying originally until 80
MoP: can, you didn’t have flying until 90 originally
WoD: CAN, pathfinder was added much later in the game.
Legion: yes you can, Pathfinder was added later in the game.
Shadowlands: can, pathfinder was added much later in the game.
Dragonflight: Press space bar few times bro, you’ll fly. The only thing you won’t have is the easy time landing perfectly where you want “perfectly” unless you put some effort.
exactly…and especially when that thing is helpful to players with disabilities and everyone else is being literally catered to with THEIR version of flight whlie those disabled players are having to work for theirs
There’s a BfA MSQ that requires you to pickup a quest object that floats in the air. It’s part of the blue dragonflight scale thingy for the HoA azerite powers. It has a cast time and cannot be cast whilst moving. You need to float static in the air to pickup the quest object as it floats too far off the ground (there is no actual ground beneath it) at the top of the Nexus.
Pathfinder does not enter into the equation as the quest is conducted in Northrend.
So, there is problem here.
As I said, it wasn’t needed back then (flying in the BfA zones) to complete it. The flying in the old zones was already acquired and not removed.
This topic and the posters in here make me laugh out loud.
They were all handed their precious skyriding without a bit of work or exploration and yet they’re in here running their mouths mocking disabled players who are simply asking for the same treatment LOL
If we’re talking about entitled I would say entitled is getting yours for free and then going out of your way to attack people asking for the same exact treatment LMAO
What are you even going on about? I was merely stating that steady flying was required for certain MSQ’s and that skyriding would basically render these quests impossible to complete. You’re the one who starting going off about pathfinder for some reason.
I absolutely mean yes I used flight to travel between quests because …that’s what normal people do. Why would I stop to smell the flowers when I could see the view from the sky. It’s like owning a helicopter in real life that ran off of hopes and dreams but you instead chose to ride a bicycle because you wanted to “see the view”. Make it make sense. If blizzard intended for us to walk around like complete scrubs and take hours upon hours to complete each quest, they wouldn’t have given us the ability to fly.
