Abuse from playerbase as a Blacksmith

I thought that too. I had approx 80% proc rate…

Until this week. Could be luck, but I keep wondering if there was a stealth “fix” again.

Like If it was just me having good procs I’d accept it as such, but theres multiple people in here having the same results which tells me that it’s way higher.

Really, I’m hoping that blizzard doesn’t fix it so much as clarify why the proc is so high; Like is it mini inspirations or is it the materials or whatever so that they can build on that and we as players can have better understandings of the mechanics at play.

Lmao its only like what 3 ilvls and people turn , cant imagine what they do in real life when things dont work out

Your anecdata isn’t actual data.

It’s corroberated by secondary sources thus there are only 3 possibilities:

  1. Me and everyone else who are claiming that this are lying (why would we do that?)
  2. Me and everyone else who are claiming this are insanely lucky (possible but rather unlikely)
  3. The statistical information provided by the game is incorrect due to some internal miscalculation within the crafting RNG.

By the way have you actually tried your hand at crafting yet to gain first hand perspective and so that you can have some credible input into the discussion?

You should probably take a logic class to go with that stats class.

I value my time to much to teach two classes that you clearly failed at.

Two out of three correct isn’t a passing grade. ;(

There really isn’t much more to say on this matter; you’ve failed to explain the statistical inconsistency that multiple people have experienced with regards to crafting results and are simply too stubborn to admit your error.

It’s kind of sad really.

Oh well. Good luck on getting your GED.

Would a hug help, friend?

After reading some of this thread, I don’t think I’ll ever bother to craft orders through the public crafting system.

I’ll use it for my alts but not the public. This crafting stuff has too much detail in it, inspiration not guaranteed, etc… so that doesn’t sound good at all.

As for those insights, at least one of my alts can make those. I forgot which prof she has but I also think my JC can, too as I saw the recipe for it, still unlearned.

From my experiences public orders basically don’t exist; In general people either don’t understand how the crafting order system works (and I can’t blame them since the game isn’t very good at explaining it) or their orders are snapped up by bots.

Beyond that though, quality from POs are typically of good quality; I routinely get stuff that is 4 star or better and getting stuff recrafted is generally a breeze.

I don’t think of it as abuse. Of course, people can be terrible sometimes, but i couldnt give 2 sh!ts about what they say–what some random a55 stranger whispers me wont affect me in the least.

If that ever actually started affecting me, id really have to reevaluate my life.

I think it directly correlates with the amount of spam required to make and sell crafted gear.

I’ve not been able to get anything to that ilvl so I didn’t bother. I make my gold from the other boa items. That’s how awesome this system is. /s

As for the alleged abuse… yeah I wouldn’t be surprised.

This I imagine wasn’t great in vanilla hence they changed it and it doesn’t work now. How about they stop forcing classic wow into retail and this fake idea of some social utopia.

Believe me I explain everything. But some people start getting angry or not believing me if they don’t get the r5 proc in the first 3 goes.
