Why is it only lasting for two days? It’s called pride month, not pride weekend.

Having little events available for weeks or months just has them inactive most of the time

Because the Running of the Trolls it’s elevating has historically been a weekend deal, if I’m remembering right.
Also, events going overlong (especially for something that’s akin to a micro-holiday) tends to be detrimental since participation falls off pretty quickly.
There was nothing stopping us from celebrating the rest of pride month before now, why would this be any different?

I mean this with all due respect and as a member of the community in question…. No. We don’t need a month long event in-game.
Pride in 2026, at least in North America, is more about corporations pandering to us and making it look like they care while backing organizations and governments that want to suppress us.
It’s not about us any more, it’s about our money and big corporation social media profiles.

You’ll find that any category of people you can devise has suffered at one point or another and trying to qualify suffering will get you nowhere, only more division. This world is hard on people, just be glad you get to escape to Azeroth for a bit.

It’s always been a weekend event.
And even though 
PRIDE is the entire month of June, the parade itself and the celebrations are usually only a few days, or a week or so.
Depends on what they’re doing, wherever you’re at.
The only Pride stuff I do, each year, is show up for a few hours at the parade, leave early and then metro home before the crowd makes it impossible to do so.
There’s always drinking and afterparties and night stuff, but I am a homebody and want to just chill after a day in the sun usually.

There are over 140 days devoted to LGBT+ officially recognized in the calendar year in the US alone. That is IRL, I think it can be rolled back a bit for a fantasy game. Besides there are many other recognized groups that receive no recognition in game whatsoever.

Except Hallow’s End since it celebrates Forsaken breaking free from the LK.
