People were calling me an exploiter too. Literally just played the game. I didn’t even play day one of the patch and didn’t know about any exploits literally just did my weeklys.
I started helping people get their t2 and spreading awareness how everyone can get it, but people are just angry instead for no reason or refuse to put the work in. I made a thread about it and people are literally saying they don’t want to raid or pvp or even do anything.
If the game was clear on how many you could get and from where, and there weren’t numerous bugs preventing people from doing stuff (why would only the first disc quest give you them? Thankfully I had a third alt that hadnt) I would suspect people would be less upset.
All the available information said the max achievable this week would be insufficient to buy. When there is a known bug that was exploited (not saying you did) and seeing people do something they were told they cant, coupled with the insane amount of bugs in general this patch, it is not an unreasonable assumption at all to think you did something funky.
I was hearing someone who was just mindlessly grinding, and they got to do the Celebrate Good Fun quest in the anniversary area more then once a week. They just did things they saw, not knowing if it was a glitch or not. Are they safe? Cause that seems for sure a Blizzard error and easy to do on accident.
People run quests on alts I’d say it’s on Blizzard for allowing yet another bug to slip through rather than blaming players for playing alts.
You people are flipping out over cosmetics take a freaking chill pill already.
Probably. Blizz probably won’t do anything about people getting more tokens than they should. Most of the time, it seems the lesson to learn from Blizz is “Exploit early, exploit often”. But, I’m just too dense to do either.
Yeah, this person I am talking to said they tried to do right. Tried opening a ticket, submitting a big report, tried to do anything they could, but it always redirected to opening/checking a thread here or trying to get them to trouble shoot things 100% unrelated.
Blizzard doesn’t wanna help them, so fine then, its Blizzards problem. Making a ticket is made just about impossible. And thats insane.
I’ve already done all the event quests, world quests, opened the 2 chests that wowhead indicated and did the PVP quests, I got 57. I don’t know how to get 60
Its crazy how confident you sounded in your reply and then were instantly proven wrong. Maybe dont speak next time unless you know with certainty. lol.
It shouldn’t be possible. I didn’t know there was a bug that let people farm them on alts. I didn’t say it with any malicious intent. So maybe don’t be so hateful.
It is honestly exhausting coming to the forums where around every corner is some person like you with a “gotcha” moment to get your endorphins. So I was wrong big deal lol.
The supposedly weekly quest keeps resetting daily but that’s how it was originally on the ptr so I don’t think that’s an exploit I’ve just done that each day and it wasn’t even on different characters.
