I like the story arc. And I want to see more of such arcs. How about bringing Muradin the King of the Frostborn (?) next? After all he has a squadron of drake-killing eagles at his disposal.

Sylvanas and the Forsaken have also captured and tortured Baine. He has never went all ragey on them. Uther said “we have to trust Sylvanas” and Baine just went “well ok then.” So… why does he trust Uther more than he trust the Champion of Azeroth and the Green Dragonflight?

Bfa? Nah he had his boy toy Anduin who he doted over. The Tauren even had the audacity to tell the Zandalari to accept a truce at the funeral of the king they committed regicide to.
If anything Baine was depressed in SL sitting quietly in a corner the whole expansion after being tossed off a cliff and called useless by a main villain most of us hardly care to remember.

“I know nothing about WoW lore and can’t remember the vanilla quests I did, and I haven’t followed Baine’s story arc at all, so based on my complete lack of information and apparent failure to read any of the quest text or listen to any of the cutscene dialog, I have decided that this thing that I don’t even know enough about to appreciate is bad.”

I didn’t call it bad. I said I didn’t like it. 
We as the adventurers/players have seen HUNDREDS of instances where people suffer from trauma. The biggest one IMO is the Night Elves losing their beloved tree.
Hell, I lost my home to another Gnome where he unleashed a radioactive bomb. Oh… and Mechagnomes are being ignored by the devs for more customizations. Not exactly trauma, but the feel of neglect, y’know?
I believe it’s a council now.
if I’m not mistaken when thrall arrives in kalimdor, he meets some centaurs and observes that they fought against the tauren, thrall decides to help the tauren and in the end Cairne helps thrall to reach his destination, in the end Cairne manages to create a fissure in the earth that prevents centaurs from advancing.
I don’t remember which tribe it was…but tauren and centaurs of this tribe are enemies.

Baine is just pretty p’od about sitting on that hard cold floor in Oribos for just over 2 years. They didnt even give him a chair to sit in. I would be genocidal too at that point.
