Maybe if our world/home ping was reading terrible I would agree with you..
But considering I currently have a world/home reading of 18 each and I have a 5 second delay I'll disagree with you there.
Plus no lag issues on ANY other game - HoS, Destiny2, Overwatch.
PLUS none of us ever had this problem *AT ALL* until BFA sharding.

Please don't post in our thread where we are trying to get help for an issue that has been ignored for 3 weeks and treated as if it is a level 1 tech support/ISP support issue where "turn your router off and on again" is the fix.

Yeah I live between two countries, NZ and Aus. Though Aus has slower internet, I have a 1 gigabit connection in NZ, and get the same issue as I do when in Aus

Most people are tired of reporting it, because it's been weeks and nothing has happened. If you want more data, pop a toon online in one of the BFA zones on the OCE servers and say "lag?" in general chat.

Agreed, I am one of the people not affected by Australia's horrible internet as I have a non NBN service with a 500mbit connection and sub 10ms ping at all times and its still broken for me as well.
Further to that its ONLY WoW thats broken.

I'm pretty sure the Soviets didn't have 100mbps down/40mbps up fibre optic internet
If you actually had any technical knowledge, you'd understand that from reading the WinMTR's posted, the hops don't even go internationally
I've been playing since approx. 5PM AEST and only now it's started to lag again

Could be because OCE servers are based in Aus with the poor internet, possibly? Not sure if they are, but that'd explain why its still slow in OCE but not in Aus and slower in Aus

I never said the servers werent bad. But server issues will always be worse when your country has a poor overall connection, contributing to why OCE is basically the only zone encountering these extreme issues, and as I said, OCE players are the ones who call anyone from NA names, i.e "Skyfag" when I joined one of their groups and "caused" the lag.
One even ignored me and a few minutes later, while I'm still there mind you, said "Now that the Skyfag is gone, I'm not lagging anymore. coincidence?" So no, I'm not OCE and don't know what I'm talking about. But linking the fact the region has poor internet anyway isn't harming anything and can help Blizzard find the problem.

But in game I find that I get a delay when in combat and when looting. Even picking up mail takes a long time. 6 seconds to grab the items from a mail.

1. The "region" is not just Australia, Oceania comprises a group of nations. Not just one.
2. This issue is restricted to BFA only and was NOT an issue in Legion or WOD..which contradicts your "ciaims"
3. This is a tech thread and if you do not have any feedback or specific information to impart, please leave.

Mate read what we posted. We do not see this in other games. Our internet is not the strongest, even New Zealand outshines Australia on internet but we see no issues in other games, just WoW.
It's a wow problem. It cannot possibly be our connections as per point made above.
