I was having fun ever since bfa release however ever since a week or so ago have been encounter huge delays my typical latency is around 100-105ms but when i play BGs , WQ , Dungeons
The latency will rise like crazy to 200s and slowly adding up to 500s. It was fine before and even now i am leveling my other characters. The latency looks fine in the 100 range but i am having huge delays
As you know BFA expansion is quite a nightmare for some people who do not like GCDs and having that delay + GCD = GG
ps: Especially when my friends and i connect through another realm or something by doing WQ. We were unable to return our home world and frustrated with the huge lag. My friend eventually quit for the week

Happens mostly on Kul'tiras absolute majority of the time. When US players comes to our servers (aside from their higher ping in general) they also feel this issue. Happens if you're in a group or not. Doesn't matter what character I'm on or even what faction or server I'm on in oceanic realms. For clarity, I've experienced this on saurfang & frostmourne. Basically opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of players on a server. As far as I'm aware this effects legitimately everyone, and this is based on guild, general, trade chat, etc.
This is just undeniably in my opinion, your servers can't handle requests fast enough so it's getting stuck processing things for ages.
Also while you're looking into this, can you re-enable putting us back on our own shard after we leave a group that took us to a US server? This used to be how it worked prior to prepatch, but hasn't since, pretty much like everything else in the prepatch that even 3 weeks into launch is broken.

will only affect when i join a group. When i leave the group but the lag stays until i am not playing the game for a long time to reset to home realm probably because it will just not go back to home realm

I am also having the lag issues, it’s been pretty consistent since bfa release, always happens around peak time on frostmourne. I am in Nz so I normally get a couple hours with no lag after work but then once it gets to peak time in Aus the lag starts. It’s definitely only happening in the new BFA zones and now arathi.
I have logged one of my other accounts on my second screen and confirmed it does not lag when playing in legion zones while I am experiancing it on the other account at the same time.

Many people have been supplying information for three weeks and it seems this has been ignored.
I died the other night just while picking a herb....during the lag a mob had time to kill me while I was still looting the herb.
This has totally destroyed the experience of a new expansion for me and its time Blizzard stepped up to the mark and at least offered some kind of apology/compensation instead of just waiting for the server population to reduce and the issue to resolve itself.

Is anybody actively experiencing this on any of their characters at this very moment? Right now we'd like to see if we can have someone hop in and reproduce as it's actively happening. We need this information to be posted ASAP when you see the issue - if possible while you're still on the same shard (i.e. don't zone once you see the issue. We know it's irritating lag to deal with, but we need to gather some data for the developers on this.) If I catch your post quickly enough I'll send someone to your shard and see if we can see the issue live.

Will they be testing from Aust? Or the US?
For the test we're running at the moment it's irrelevant, but we'll be testing from the US. Basically we're going to do a health check on the shard by porting to your character and forward the statistics to the devs so they can get an idea of what's actively happening there. We don't currently expect this is an ISP issue, which is why we're going with this.
I've been experiencing this issue in the evenings much like everyone else, pretty much every day I get on.
At the moment though, I've been on for a couple of hours (7 am - 9 am) and it's been perfect the entire time.

Most (note, I say most) of us are experiencing this issue at around 5pm +10GMT time zone or AEST time zone. If my math is correct, 10pm in California will equate to roughly 3pm Oceanic time so the issues may not be as prevalent as they would be later on. At that point, passing it on to the EU team afterwards may help.
Another possibility is to keep an eye on this during the weekends as it's pretty consistent during those times due to everyone being off work. Our weekends (for the most part) start this evening Oceanic time (+10 GMT roughly) so you should be able to catch something going on then.
EDIT: Also, the issue appears to be spreading to Eastern Kingdoms due to the Warfront last night (around 7pm +10GMT) on the character Fortified on Saurfang, Western Plaguelands started experencing heavy lag similar to that of the lag in BfA zones. Something to keep an eye out for.
It’s normally occurs only evenings and weekends, everyone’s at work/school atm
