Ability/Loot Lag on Oceanic Servers Despite Normal Latency

Yes, I just exited the game. I’m going to do something more enjoyable for a while because currently the game is not that.

Raise the price, not fixed a several year ongoing issue - blaming us instead of the actual issue - you are too cheap to provide the capacity required.

Another day at not even prime time yet, another lagfest adventure and server crash.

Lovely. /sips tea

Yep, oceanic crashing away.
Even in Warmode its laggy.

Yup, same issue.

In a dungeon, can watch everyone else run around and play normally, they say it looks like I’m stuck looting.

just got back in and server is crashing :frowning:

Server keeps crashing every couple of minutes forcing me to exit game.

Crashing again. Sometimes when landing in an area or when handing in quests.

OCE crashing again. Seriously how the hell is this still an issue? You’ve had 16 years to work and prepare for stuff like this. Beyond a joke at this point.

Can’t even get stable servers on a Tuesday during the day, what an absolute joke.

SAurfang still going on

Servers are definitely offline. Crashing on and off

probably because not enough people are posting the requested information.
it makes it hard to pinpoint something simply based of people ranting.

One person… only one, has submitted the requested information in the past 4 months.

…that’s not a whole lot to work with.

If you read the thread (there’s many, many, many posts so I could understand why not) they said that information was no longer required.

Also, this has been happening for two years.

Leveling my shaman on Kel’Thuzad alliance with warmode ON and it’s getting to be unplayable. My latency never goes over 20ms home or world, yet it can take anywhere from 1 to 5 seconds for actions and clicks to register. Enemy npc’s are not affected so there have been several times where I have died due to the issue. I certainly hope a fix or at least some sort of reply is coming our way soon.

it hasn’t been consistent for two years.

this is an ancient thread, which should have been left to die.

anything post-launch should have gone into a new thread.

The blue request for data was made in August 2018.

Until they repeat that request, it’s old stuff.

You would normally be correct, but this is an almost exact repeat of the 2018 situation. A reminder of a problem that resurfaces is reasonable.

It has been consistent for two years. Every patch launch it kicks back in. Every time there’s a large amount of the player-base online, it happens. It is inherently linked to activity - which is why is sucked at the start of BFA, and every patch launch since then - but not in the middle when everybody had unsubbed. I don’t mean to be rude, but I’ve dealt with this for a long while and by this point I’m pretty fed-up with the situation.

it’s a standard request for any sort of connection issues… listed in the sticky.
