If you cant Earn XP in BGs can we please have the ability to turn off xp gains?
Id love to make a bunch of Tanks for particularly tough segments of the Leveling Bracket to help people
like we all know the 30-40 bracket is a slow but pivotal section of the game
id love to have a Tank at 30-32 and 38-40
LMFAO we all know your real intention here is to keep a 19 twink rogue there forever because youll get blasted on your main and want to beat up level 10s in wsg.
The ability to turn off xp wasn’t added to the game until I think it was Cata. So no, you won’t be able to do this in Classic.
Retail it has that option just don’t quest or kill anything when you hit what lvl bracket you want your toon to stay at.
people can easily do that anyway if they put in the time and effort to get the enchants and gear before they hit 20

and then they get leveled out because wins give you a small amount of xp and they have to reroll it and buy everything again. youre trying to avoid that. good effort, still grade F MINUS attempt.
tmk no BGs gave you XP aside from ones like Alterac that have NPCs and Quests.
XP was actually something they added into the game as a measure to stop twinking, something people will be able to do once the BGs release anyway.
wins give xp, its why a lot of them would afk out at 2 caps so they didnt get a win. its not much, if i remember it was like 400 xp or something and i think you need about 12k to hit 20, but enough games and they move on.
Wins don’t give experience. You can’t gain any experience in PvP.

I remember when this happened. The BGs were split, and the QQ started as soon as twinkers realized they would only be playing against other twinkers.
It got a few changes along the way, but I don’t remember all of them.
Experience for BGs wasn’t added until 3.2.
a win always gave exp, but it was minimal, the quest turn ins were the big block of xp at 3 marks. so… you played modded private servers? try again bud
twinks demanding xp lock were pretty much the only reason it was added so they could play full games.
Just admit you’re wrong. 
I had a twink rogue and twink priest all the way up until the end of BC. Yes, turning off xp was added to the game because of twinks who wanted to play certain brackets, but it was done at the same time experience in BGs was added. There was NO xp given (win or otherwise) for BGs in vanilla.
pretty sure xp lock was begged for BECAUSE Blizz added XP to combat Twinking. one they didnt want or expect was the segregation between them and the low levels, which actually killed twinking.
yes there was exp given for wins. its why theyd AFK out if they were about to win.

Are you a bit mental, I twinked in BC and bgs 100% gave no xp.
completely wrong. i remember it being the main reason i never made a twink because youd level out of the bracket.

That came around WOTLK, they added the xp off vendor, which I think also added separated ques.
