Ye, reduced with anger management. :dracthyr_a1: The thing about sharpen is that it’s applied as you’re bursting or as healer is coming out of CC so just “macroing” it into csmash is, like, awkward and bad.

Do you think it’d be better if they made the MS effect of it last longer to compensate?

Compensate? Sharpen is arguably one of the most broken abilities in the game. Warriors are lucky they had it as long as they did.

Yet arms is somewhere between bad and underwhelming so obviously not.

I feel like it would have to last absurdly long to the point where it creates an entirely new problem.

It’s usually something like CC healer > blow damage cooldowns > sharpen something like 8+ seconds after initial go to catch fat healing cooldowns when target is sub 50% and healer gets out of CC.

The new sharpen is almost just wasted because you are either overlapping it with CC or you save your CC until 4 seconds into burst which is obviously terrible because it just lets them freely start casting mitigation cooldowns.

I agree. Shame about the rest of the class. It’s like a cherry on top of a turd.

I play a lot of BGB and shuffle and see warriors doing extremely well. Nothing about them is bad. I think warriors are just comparing now to the points where they are so gigga broken.

Warriors are good at what they do and what they do has low agency.

This was my thought. Like, I never understood why SP send psyfiend before a go like, “what healing are you reducing?? The healer is in a stun silence fear??”

It will be relevant vs classes that passively self heal like sp and good for hitting healers, but overall feels like less agency makes it worse for the “benefit” of removing a bind.

They keep doing this stuff to reduce bloat and I’m just like please instead merge slam and rend or overpower or any other combination of redundant rotational abilities.

Maybe it’s just going to make our burst rotation really annoyingly janky. Like you hold a sudden death proc (or two if you’re slayer and lucky), CS > Execute x2> Overpower x2 > Then the CC chain on the healer might be ending and you MS on the fifth GCD.
That kinda mitigates the change but it’s still annoying, removes agency, and reduces the likelyhood that you might find kills between burst windows.

That’s not even close to compensation. Having 5 shields in a row to respond to damage is a response - a single purgable shield is not this change must of come from the moron that gave paladins spammable repentance now every game I have to deal with hoj X3 Rep warstomp & rebuke from the damn healer and nobody stops anything to stop this ever and just lose game- Dragons are going to have no pvp talent required spammable fear next patch as well. Next patch is a disgrace if blizzard was in my country id go bull horn them right now. my equivalent MC is the worst CC in the entire game. So my CC and my CDs are far worse and everything they gave is useless crap. Yeah I’m going to spend the whole next season complaining buckle up butter cup I have only just started to complain.

The other stuff they gave is all tied to penance basically if you kick us on penance we will just lose now.

yeah, they do nothing when ur entire team is getting banged. But oh we buffed Penance the most easily kickable spell in the game just stacked with everything so if you get kicked even once after ur 3hour long cc chain u just instantly die. Joke of a game. Joke of a change. Rapture isn’t even a CD its just healing because we have none. Frankly they should of removed Dome if anything spell is completely useless about 60% of the time.

Pws was buffed to compensate? Are you cooked? Did you forget hp bars are going up in the patch? This so called compensation is just trying to keep up with that change and still yields a net negative effect by removing rapture which was already dispellable…

Oh boy, not like you can stack a lil bit of haste to negate the increased cd huh?
