There’s very little to no creative thought put into It. With the Aberrus raid, the WoW development team took a 5 man leveling dungeon and turned It into alleged content
Dragonflight 10.0 → 10.1 isn’t content
The WoW Community isn’t Content
You guys as a development team are carrying over WoW: Shadowlands’ brainless ideology of no plot, story, and lore with no interconnecting chapters and dialogue, as modern WoW is just a Forrest Gump run on sentence and Seinfeld’s show about Nothing
World of Warcraft (used) to be based on Dragonlance and Lord of the Rings novels and full of then-modern spoofs and satire as easter eggs, such as a Tirion gnome trying to infiltrate the Storm Wind Keep (Game of Thrones)
As an MMORPG, One and All (used) to be able to get sucked into and lost in the World of Azeroth
Shadowlands was mindless and brainless because all of the Player’s effort was put into trying to cap out Covenent rewards with Renown for worthless rewards and reskins offered up by the same vendors and the alleged “chapters” never connected together to explain why anything was why It was, and then poof
Arthas, the Lich King that Players fell in love with, gets turned into a wisp
Malfurion Stormrage gets “killed”, going into eternal sleep
Chapter 6 or 7 of Dragonflight, Dragonscale Expedition Renown reputation quest (leads on), that again, two of the leaders of the Dragon Aspects are being killed off in slumber ala Malfurion Stormrage 2.0
WoW: Shadowlands had this alleged big threat, The Jailer - biggest lackluster anti-climactic content ever
WoW: Dragonflight repeats It, Dungeon and Raid boss dialogue with no explanation about why It’s all happening, no rich lore characters to fall in love with
Stuff…stuff just still randomly happens
The WoW development team can’t call WoW: Dragonflight a patch 10.1 and write It off as being content when They don’t know how to make the playerbase Content
The last boss of Aberrus, The Shadow Crucible, Sarkareth, what’s suppose to be evil and menacing, threating about Him, about the overall point and purpose of Him existing and being there?
The raid before Aberrus, The Shadow Crucible, there’s this Dragon egg crushing boss encounter, and just prior to the fight, She, the boss says: “He was a Son!”
Big deal…like Nobody cares…Nobody’s Content, because there’s no WoW content
Sadly I digress - while the Valdrakken tuesday vault resets, go under ground and help out the Sniffen kobold mice for meanlingless Shadowlands 2.0 plot and rewards while We’re down there
What WoW: Classic had always accomplished so well was the There’s Always A Bigger Fish, Game of Thrones vibe, that no matter where You stood with opinions and cancel culture, there’s just enough plot, story, and lore there, that whether a gnome, goblin, an elite skeleton Mob - Morladim in Duskwood - You just felt the feeling of Someone, be It a Game Master or what have You, always watching You, that there’s this Jurassic Park velociraptor feeling of being hunted, and randomly finding an old tome quest on an RNG corpse
WoW Classic graphics are old yes, but to a great extent, every single zone sucks You in
Dun Murogh where Ironforge is, makes You feel cold.
Whether It’s the modern WoW development team content meetings from thought onto paper to execution production, like with WoW: Shadowlands’ Helm of Wills, and selling It off as being plot, story, and lore, You Guys as a WoW development team aren’t inspiring much hope and progress for World of Warcraft
You’ll market on Social Media to try and communicate with the playerbase - We want addons such as weakaura to make It more fun and engaging, and then Aberrus, The Shadow Crucible raid is released, and here’s another dark black room with blue and purple colors and dark blue and purple boss mechanics, of don’t stand here, and if You can’t See It, on top of every other similar looking color, then You die and wipe the raid
Modern Blizzard Entertainment’s overall vibe is One of being a fetish of causing the Playerbase duress and laughing out loud, having Nothing better to do
WoW: Dragonflight 10.0 dungeon content with a last boss Water elemental: don’t stand in This whirl pool or You die, and that die anywhere in the dungeon, and run back from the door beginning
WoW: Shadowlands’s land of the dead and elites everywhere and Jailer guards appearing at the most random moment and killing Players causing frustration
Chocolate is Chocolate and Videogames are Videogames
You Guys should be striving for Excellence
