Psh, you can still do M+ if you’re being swept off to OZ in a tornado, that’s no excuse.
Any competent MM hunter can do the simple task of instantly summoning their pet by blowing their whistle, lusting, and then dismissing it as soon as possible.
And ones with brains know that them losing 10% dps for a little is worth the whole party doing like double damage on whatever boss.
Unfortunately, not many of them have brains.
this week is push week that’s why. why bother wasting 30+ min in a dungeon that’s gonna yield no reward worth sticking around for and isn’t going to boost your raider.io score?
So that’s why they leave.
To remedy this, blizzard needs to either up the end of dungeon rewards (unlikely), ban raider.io (i hope not), or be more generous with the timer where a wipe or two won’t kill the run (unlikely).
To you, and everyone with anything on the ball I would say this: Do two things. First assess the group up to and including the first boss. But before doing that, assess each player correctly. Look at their ilevel and gear. And is the gear enchanted? Are gems installed in slots? Are they fed and flasked? Also, look at their raider io score. How many of those 5-9s, 10-14s have they done? And, not only that. Is the group carrying someone? I have kicked myself later because we missed timing something because I did not do these things. And I have really kicked myself when I did not realize there was a guy in the group dying all the time because he was a carry and was 20 or more ilevels below the others with no raider io showing no credible experience.
Force quit and xfer your gold to another character before starting the run.
You’ll just be in debt with the goblin mafia. They’ll find you.
They were doing so much damage, we definitely could have done the key in the timer LOL! But then they up and left and it was probably closer to four minutes than five anyway.
i mean dismissing takes so long for most fights you might as well keep them out. And uhh good job sterotyping a whole class just because a bunch of the "go meta and turn brain off " crowd go hunter. ol
Yes, and if you lust and leave your pet out for the whole fight you’ll still only lose like 2% personal dps, compared to the group as a whole doing like double damage.
And huntards have been a thing since vanilla, but good try calling it my stereotype. This is just the latest iteration of people being terrible at something on the “newbie friendly” class.
I’m not arguing you are wrong that the group would do more dps. I’m not arguing “huntards” arent a sterotype. What i said was we got a whole bunch of rookies rolling Green for Meta parses and you sterotyped the whole class of them which i find funny
I left one today. Did the first boss and I as the tank was second on damage. With the other 2 being much lower. I told them that the 2 dps needed much practice, and left.
Ive done the dungeon enough times to know that we for sure wont time it, and probably wouldn’t even kill the third boss.
People seems to be mad against leaver but this is basic rng manipulation. If you did a succesful run where you got loot, the odds of having two piece of gear in a row is extremely low. So, if for some reason, you have a hard time, just leave. It doesn’t affect much, you won’t lose your time and maybe the next dung you’ll get gear.
Why is there no reason to complete a key if the time ran out? Why are people running M+ if not for gear?
Ran a few M+ yesterday, for gear…Completed 3 in time, 1 time ran out. In fact, the only time I got ANYTHING was the completed failed time. So completing that one was not pointless after all.
Idk your situation specifically, but I can say that I’ve noticed most tanks are higher than the average dps. This is a balance problem Blizz created because nobody liked to tank, everyone likes doing dps. So Blizz let tanks have their cake and eat it too, allowing tanks to do high dps while having high armor.
They did something with healers too where they heal for way more than a dps can dish out. Healers are broken in PvP. You can 2v1 them and have to wait for them to run out of CDs or mana. In BGs, if two healers are running together with some dps, forget about it.
Says the druid, one of the most mindless, OP classes right now lmao
Agreed, but all those fools running dps meters:
MM hunter pulls out pet to benefit others, then gets chewed out for low dps. Don’t miss the whole picture here.
Dungeons are like 30 minutes…didn’t they teach you to hold it when you were 5? or go before the dungeon…
At the level I’m talking about in that post, they’re running for leaderboard
Soon my mythic plus tag line will be: Me no leave group!
That may get me a few bites.
Honestly they should abandon M+ period its a terrible game mode and has been the greatest source of elitism and player gating in WoW history.
It’s one of the most popular systems ever added to the game
People spend crazy money on Treadmills so they can run indoors and watch TV on a sunny, beautiful day too…
Lots of people doing a thing doesnt make it a good thing…look at American history…
That’s not how loot works. That’s not how statistics works. If you’re following any kind of rule like this, you’re only screwing yourself
Getting loot has no affect on your next chances of getting loot. There may be bad luck protection, but I guarantee you there is no good luck protection
