You’re also in a period of time when:
- BWL and ZG are getting a bit long in the tooth
- AQ40 is still a while out apparently
- People have had time to rank 14 grind 2 characters entirely separately already. (so probably are done pvping)
- Cata is ramping up for MoP with big leveling speed boosts (im currently leveling 3 toons there myself)
- Summer is here (and touching grass occasionally can be fun)
All of that matters because Anniversary population will naturally dip a bit because of any of those things, let alone all of them combining. Natural ebbs and flows of the wow content cycles and such. We’ll likely see more people bleed out leading up to mop, a big drop when MoP comes out, and then people coming back a few weeks into mop once they’re raid/arena logging that expansion and/or as AQ40 gears up over here.
That said… This weekend is AB weekend, and probably the only time that bg will ever pop without dramatic buffs to the honor/hour it provides… See you in there on all 3 of my toons.
