“LOL. If you say so.”
I do. Thank you for agreeing.
PServers are fine, they’re a large part of why we’re getting this game.
Multi boxing is kind of lame, and absolutely it’s allowed because of $$$, but being a for-profit company and all I’m ok with it.
Ironic coming from the guy asking for non vanilla changes to vanilla
Agreed. I used to dual box in EQ2 to get quests done or level up an alt. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.
“I did it so clearly it is a legitimate way to play a multiplayer game and totally not lame.”
I don’t think it’d be a shame or ruin anything. Some people don’t care about the journey, already did the journey a whole bunch in Vanilla or are interested in the journey that beings at level 60.
Nothing wrong with that - and it shouldn’t ruin anything for anyone else; someone else leveling quickly and rushing past you doesn’t break your game… Just play the way you want to play, and you’ll meet plenty of other people doing the same.
VC = Deadmines (VanCleef)
DM = Dire Maul
A rush in Vanilla meant a lot of time and human resources. It’s a much different rush than any other expansion. Remember, a very small percentage of people made it to Vanilla end-game. For the average player it will take about a year to get to T2.
Different shard means different chat channels.
Some people will continue to have that mindset. They existed back in Vanilla just as they do now.
Others won’t.
Play with those who don’t have it.
that must be confusing when they said LFM DM. instead of the actual things they said in vanilla which were
DM east
DM west
DM north
DM tribute(or just tribute run)
where as LFM DM means deadmines.
Different shard means different chat channels.
No it does not

i’ve been kind of curious why there’s been sooo much hate towards sharding. i think i understand now. people just don’t know how it works.
No, we know how it works. A shard shares all the chat channels in the area but you can only see people on the shard with you, even if they are standing right next you.

clearly not
1 person not knowing doesn’t mean we all don’t know.
1 person not knowing doesn’t mean we all don’t know.
Not at all, but generally speaking if one person speaking thinks this, there’s more.
Granted, but to say we all have a problem with it because we don’t know what it is, when this is the 1st person against it who had this point of view is disingenuous as best.

Not arguing either way as I have been on both sides of the sharding debate.
But, in all fairness, I have suspected some people - based on their arguments - have been sharing this viewpoint of how it works. Certainly not all, but several.
