I personally haven’t had much interest in aszhara, ashenvale is what is most important to me as an Night elf fan. Hoping that would become more of their focus vs darkshore.
Been lookin in on this thread as much as I can, and I think there is a misconception that Tyrande and Malfurion are even pissed with this new Horde. Seems the evidence is pointed right at Sylvanas and co alone. Her not answering anduins missives felt like a last minute Easter egg as to not forget this is on the back burner.
A scenario like the one in my OP would work to maybe make the Horde player have a little less guilt, and kind of redeem the horde in a few of the Alliance Leader’s eyes. The direction is going to be breaking the cycle for blizzard and uniting around be azerothians. Horde sacrificing them selves to protect the last Night elf civilians in storm wind breaks that cycle. Offers up more closure to Night elf players by calming their fears that the horde will never “pay” for what they did because we won’t have this faction war anymore.
