A warning from those who serve Azeroth's true masters

A warning from the Black Empire , written in the blood of the N’raqi, originally composed in Shath’yar. Translated by a willing priest of the Church of the Holy Light before being driven to madness:

Hear this warning, races of Azeroth, and carve it into memory rather than stone, tree, or scroll. Do not delude yourselves into believing that the end of Xal’atath will be wrought by your valor, your armies, or your so called false “Heroes”. Her fate does not rest in mortal hands, but in those who have served the Old Gods since before your histories were first whispered. It is the servants of the Black Empire, not the banners of Azeroth, who shall bring about her end.

Remember the truth you would rather forget or bury in your minds: it was by the actions of your own kind that Xal’atath was found, and unbound. The blade that held her chained endured by the will of the Old Gods, a prison forged to contain what could not be destroyed. Yet through arrogance, curiosity, or the hunger for power, mortals aided in loosened those bindings and freed the voice within. In seeking to foolishly wield her, you instead unleashed her upon the world.

From that moment forward, your meddling has been the catalyst for chaos and ruin. Each intrusion, each attempt to command or thwart her, even to go so far as to aid her, has widened the scars upon Azeroth. Where you believed yourselves saviors, you became instruments of disorder, allowing her influence to spread and her schemes to take root. The destruction you now endure is not an unforeseen tragedy, but the consequence of mortal interference in designs far older than your races.

Know this, and despair. Or repent as you will: it was by the will of the Old Gods that Xal’atath was bound, and it is by the servants of the Black Empire that she will be rebound. Else unmade entirely. Not through your wars, not through your heroes, but through the same ancient power that first understood the necessity of her chains. When that reckoning comes, Azeroth will remember that mortals were never meant to decide the fate of gods and monsters, only to suffer at the cost of believing they could.

Tread not the path of despair or you will lose yourself chasing the fight that was never yours to bear.
