Who did a survey? When did they do this survey? I didn’t get one, so who did? I’ve heard of this mystical survey, but I’ve never seen proof of it. The only reason not to publish the survey results would be because the results run counter to Blizzard’s decision.
That is the very definition of complaining? Is your intent to try to change English or challenge the accurate word I used?
verb
express dissatisfaction or annoyance about something.
I don’t really know what you’re trying to say. We like the game as it is. The forums don’t only exist for you to complain. People can express positive sentiments, too.
It doesn’t matter. It’s not coming. Thank goodness.
Not validating your argument when you pick and choose just show incompetency and fallacy leading to your straw-man trash.
Who said I hated this game? Good assumption child.
Again RDF was optional, not required.
GGEZ$$
Read all your posts and then reflect on the irony of calling other people child
.
You are spewing nothing but complaint after complaint about the game and otherwise acting emotionally erratic. It’s easy to come to a conclusion you hate the game based on your behavior.
The game is great how it is. No change required.
Spewing truth baby girl
Who is this we? The small minority who chose to come to the forums to gatekeep on others enjoyment?
Yes. That group of people. I doubt it’s a minority since Blizzard made this choice and they have the data to validate their decisions. I doubt they will share it so we’ll never know. But, absolutely. The group of people who like the game as it was released. There are lots of us out here loving it!
No, it is the minority. Blizzard didn’t rely on data, they relied on only themselves. Blizzard doesn’t care about the community as a whole.
You don’t really know what influences their choices but you speak like it’s fact. I speculate I’m more correct in my position and it’s certainly fact that they have access to data.
I disagree. I do think they care about the game, and as a by product, the community. However, I do think the original visionaries who were passionate about a good experience fell away to business sentiments. Optimizations in class balance to make it ‘easier’ on them at the cost of erosion of what made the game special. That came later I think than Wrath… but, RDF was a choice they made when things were good, and I gather their data likely showed them it was a mistake.
Yes they also said the same thing when they removed flying for a few weeks until they realized it was the cause of a massive sub loss.
Unfortunately, with losses like that people often don’t come back, so if they did realize that’s a problem here its again likely to be too late to retain people who leave due to it.
Blizzard have a habit of being stubborn even to the risk of business.
Okay keep coping. It’s not coming. It’s antithetical to what they want to accomplish with Classic.
Neither you nor I can know this for sure, it’s always been an assumption from everyone even the devs.
They said they got feedback, it was not widespread if they did, and pretty sure they same the same about flying when they took it out.
If Blizzard could put a financial number on removing all these toxic people in their game and quantify what it would cost, I wonder if they’d pay it.
…perhaps that is what RDF ends up being. The cost of bringing back the better elements of their community.
That was implied in how I stated it.
I really wish people would stop calling it classic, it’s not, its Wrath, Classic was over two expacs ago.
hmm
I go out and give back to new people, and sometimes gold, help out guildies where I can, have followed some players around that seem to be struggling and heal help them.
In that sentence you tarred everyone that wants it with the same brush, do I seem that kind of a player?
Cuz their analytics showed they would make more money with it out than in.
They would most likely sell less boosts.
It only applies to you if you resemble the toxic people that display their emotional outbursts all over these forums. Only you can decide if you qualify. I don’t read your posts or know anything about you. I certainly can see plenty of examples of what would be ideally absent from their community in this thread alone.
There seem to be an awful lot of toxic positivity in these forums as well, its just harder to spot.
