Urban Legend is a Semi-Sweaty Guild currently recruiting for SSC/TK Progression and onward.

Schedule:

  • Tuesday Optional Farm: 6 pm - 9 pm PST.
  • Wednesday Progression: 6 pm - 9 pm PST.
  • Thursday Progression: 6 pm - 9 pm PST.

Current Needs:

  • Tanks:
    • Full. Open to Casual/Flex Players
  • Healers:
    • Holy Priest
    • Resto Shaman
    • Resto Druid
  • Ranged DPS:
    • Boomkin
    • Shadow Priest
  • Melee DPS:
    • Enhancement Shaman

While the above is our priority, we will consider all applicants.

What you can expect from Urban Legend:

  • Efficiently progressing through all content:
    • Guild leadership and raid leaders will be prepared to lead our raids through previous expansion experience and via current refreshment of knowledge.
    • Raiders will know what is expected of them prior to raids and guild events so they can prepare.
  • No Drama Leadership:
    • We play this game to have fun and kill dragons on the internet. We will not tolerate players with toxic attitudes or those who live for drama.
  • A positive and friendly environment with some adult humor mixed in:
    • Many of us play this game for the social aspect. In fact some of us have been killing dragons together since the original TBC, so we do like to kid around quite a bit. That being said:
    • We will not tolerate racism, sexism, or homophobia.
    • We’re all here to have fun and take a break from whatever IRL stresses you may have. Treating each other with respect and dignity is of the utmost importance.

What Urban Legend expects of you:

  • A positive attitude.
    • As stated above, guild leadership will not tolerate toxic attitudes or those who cause drama within the guild.
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform mechanics when asked.
    • We expect everyone to be team players. If asked to perform specific tasks for the success of the raid, we expect you to follow through. Refusing to perform or volunteer when asked to do special mechanics is a selfish mentality and goes against the goals of the team.
    • We expect you to understand how to play your chosen class/spec and optimize your character to best perform your role. Be able to use resources such as Warcraft Logs, and find ways to always strive for improvement.
  • Attendance
    • We understand that not everyone will have 100% attendance. Real life happens, and we understand that. However, we expect you to be able to attend 85% of scheduled raids.
    • Our goal is to maintain a roster of around 28 players to ensure we can form a team of 25 raiders. Understand that this may mean you’ll be asked to sit on some fights.
