It’s definitely time to tone the emote down a bit. It was neat the first few times, but when I’m on an alt in Pandaria and I’m supposedly hearing Alexstrasza and other dragons roar from Valdrakken, it’s a wonder anyone can hear anything in the Dragon Isles. We’re talking practically polar opposite ends of Azeroth here.
Hell, a sound wave that powerful should theoretically caues Zaralek Cavern to be rumbling. It’s a miracle the aspects haven’t killed anyone (to my knowledge) from shaking a few stalactites loose.

It reminds me a bit of the cute piece of trivia I read yesterday: if space transmitted sound, the sound on the Sun would be like a nearby jackhammer, all the time, everywhere.
Hearing it anywhere in the WoW universe means it really has to be loud. At least for the dragon staff legendary, we only get told about it in our faction capital…

You can hear it from other planets and timelines too, not just other parts of Azeroth.

Its even more painful for my guildy evoker, our only one, who still hasnt seen it drop. Maybe he can farm lfr when its out for a chance at it.
I hope i get it on my evoker alt i just logged into today since 10.5 and beat him to it.
