it’s not even hard to spot them sometimes. in gorgrond i saw a pack of druids running around in circles spamming starfall and all their names had the tag on them.
Wha…? Did you mean to respond to me? That doesn’t make sense. I said I get emails that action was taken on the account, so not sure where you get that I said reporting the bots gets nothing done?

Yeah, the spot, not the bots. In the video, someone asks the guy if he’s going to report them and he said no, he was going to report the spot.
Pretty awesome spot. I spent a few hours farming leather there early in the Xpac and made 200k in a few hours. Now I am good for repairs for the rest of the expansion.
Problem is that the only true solution is to nerf it sadly, as botters will still keep making accounts and sending the gold to other accounts so blizzard can’t take it back.
I think they should go after the accounts that gold gets sent to as well, where if someone gets gold sent to them by tons of accounts that were banned for botting, they’re gone!

The other issue is they send the gold through the AH, so its hard to track from my understanding given how the AH works. Trust me when I say this, when there’s a will, they will find a way to exploit something in the game. That’s going to give them a ton of gold with little to no effort.
To blizzards credit they did make it to where you cannot buy the same auctions on the same account. Yet they’ll just use the gold they earn to buy tokens and make numerous accounts to send the gold around to. Then compile it into one account for storage and use on their main account as needed.
Maybe it’s not intended for a single hide to sell for 2k gold

then they could just send them to innocent accounts and get them banned as well…

I have noticed a pretty big increase in bots in Moon Guard lately.
I have friends on Azralon and Nemesis and they said there are a lot more over there too.
I also see a lot of complaints when taking to random people from other realms while in-game.
I wonder what happened to cause such a dramatic increase in botting.
was trying to do quest for garrison follower in talador in that bog area. OMG druids literally everywhere going in the exact same path back and forth in a chain. starfalling everything. was almost impossible to do the quest because they kept killing the mobs before anyone could tag them. why are they always alliance?
Damn. This was my favorite skinning spot. It’s rare that insta respawns last in WoW.
We knew it’d be nerfed eventually. I guess I’m glad it lasted this long. Won’t stay that way with botters tho. Thanks you buttheads.

Hell its what I did in eve. I’d see bot miners and hit them up going I need lots of ore/ice, you all probably don’t want to freighter that to jita all the time.

kind of hard to do when they have faster reaction times then humans.
That was stupid. The bots will just find a new place and everyone who could have used this one is S O L. Maybe next time go after the bots instead?
