A third spec?

[quote="207576617520"]I love the DH and I see no proper excuse for Blizz to lock them down so hard - both in number of specs, spec variety/identify, and in races.

No excuse not to have a ranged spec with polearms. We see a DH NPC do it in game. And it would be no similar to a lock as a holy paladin is to a holy priest. Ranged DH would be using Fel magic, yes, but instead of just being tanky and hiding behind demons, they would dash all over the place more like a mage or hunter. More pew pew than locks could ever be.

The spec variety is a minor annoyance. It’s just strange that they tried so hard to make all the specs of the other classes so thematically different, then left the DH thematically the same. Metamorphing dual weilder with felfire.

till this, i agree completely.

Then races. How many people play this game? And you’re saying of all those, every single one has to be an elf? Is it so out there that another race *cough* orc *cough* could take in demon blood/felfire in their veins? Could make an easy argument for even races like Worgen, being that they are already furious metamorphing warlock-related (Arugal, right) creatures, and they simply took the next small step.

I don’t care if there are tiny holes in being able to have more variety - given gigantic player base wow has, and the sheer number of people interested in this class, there is no excuse to so severely pigeonhole it. Two races. Two specs. Fel!@#$.

Rant over. :) I do love this class!!

For this there is a big reason why only elves are DH... with only fel in their veins, they would be warlocks, but they have TRAINED in the Black Temple with Glaives so that's why they are DH, cause Illidan taught them... why would a sticky wolf as Worgens be using Glaives without any training? .
