Affinities. Oh, dear god, affinities.
That is the worst, most restrictive talent in the game (strictly in my opinion).
As a druid, I feel that all of our forms should be useful, based on the situation that we find ourselves in. Kind of like a Swiss Army knife.
Logically I do understand that it would probably require more balancing than they want to commit time to, but man do I miss the days of being able to off tank an add while someone rezzes the tank that died, or provide a clutch heal, all while being specced as dps and without having to have chosen that specific affinity.
Also, as far as affinities go, you choose one and you STILL get bare bones functionality. If I am a healer and choose feral as my affinity, I should get Skull Bash. My bars feel so empty, which is a shame because as a druid they used to be so full and I loved it. Perhaps Shadowlands will fix that.
Being harassed constantly for enjoying DH. I made DH as soon as it launched pre-legion event and Iâve loved it ever since. Unfortunately that means Iâm not allowed to have any input or opinions any more.
Yeah. I hate that too. I always have a bunch of swiftness potion with me for that reason. Fairly cheap to buy and makes things a bit better.
I hate the fact that my pet makes it take longer to get out of combat. Not sure if this is because I play with a somewhat high ping or not, but normally I have to wait until my pet returns to my side before exiting combat. Those 2-3 extra seconds are SUPER annoying.
Tired of the goody-two-shoes feel of paladin.
I want more wh40k Inquisitor feel to it
Though the LF Draeneiâs baby exterminatus helps
Im happy with dk.
But can I please get stances back???
Playing wolf simulator in PvP.
Why is the dh talkingâŚ

Dk deathcycle whenâŚi want to get my ghost rider rp onâŚ
My cleave being capped to 5 targets as fury is my main one. Also, the fact that seigebreaker exists on fury bothers me. If I wanted to play arms warrior, Iâd be an arms warrior blizzard.
Also not particular to my class, but the fact that like 3 sets look okay on KT males is dumb.
The sounds make me want to curbstomp a puppy.
Why did they change them to -this-? Itâs so bad.
Holy Paladin:
Lack of even semi-reliable AoE healing. They can get by in Mythic+ content without abusing things like the old Eternal Flame talent or the new Glimmer Build thatâs basically the same thing in a different way, but their base kit is lacking in this department and itâs really an issue in raiding. The game has evolved beyond âtank healersâ and âraid healersâ but Paladins have not. It needs to change, and fleeting âspam the raid with minor buffsâ talents and builds need to die in a fire. They arenât fitting for Paladin. It turns them into off brand Resto Druids and makes me quit playing the spec every time. Revamp their AoE kit.
Enhancement Shaman:
Dry spells of Stormstrike procs resulting in lack of maelstrom / downtime in the rotation. RNG-based specs are fine. RNG-based specs that have to literally stare at the screen for several globals hoping for better luck next time an ability is up are not. Enhancement -needs- a baseline ability to force a proc. They can famine it up a little bit while draining their maelstrom, but if it goes on too long, it just feels like garbage. Let them have an ability to force it. Mitigate the dry spells that you can do -nothing- about. Give it a 45 second cooldown or something.
Additionally, over-abundance of Stormstrike procs resulting in an overflow of maelstrom that you can do literally nothing to spend without losing DPS. Resource dumps are part of what make many specs have a decently high skill ceiling. The art of not wasting resources. Enhancement doesnât have that. They just keep mashing the Stormstrike button while sitting at 100% maelstrom. Feels better than dry streaks, but the spec needs some way for decent players to outperform worse players. It lacks that right now outside of specific builds, but even in those builds this specific situation is an issue.
Elemental Shaman:
The fact that Elemental Blast is no longer usable thanks to it being moved to share a talent row with Echo of the Elements in BfA. I know it wasnât added until MoP and even then it was only a talent option, but I considered the spell practically iconic since then. It looks FANTASTIC, it adds a much needed button to Elementalâs overly simple base rotation, and itâs totally useless because of how they shuffled the talents. Simple solution: Make it baseline. Make Echo of the Elements baseline too. Itâs too good, but is impossible to nerf without completely redesigning it.
note: Icefury (added in Legion I think) is a competitive option right now, so at least we have that to add to the rotation, but I still want Elemental Blast back. Hell, make it compete with Icefury on a talent row if it must be a talent. Theyâd be a decent match, unlike Echo.
Fire Mage:
Lack of complexity. I LOVE their gimmick. The interaction between their Hot Streak mechanic, the travel time of Fireball, and the instant nature of Fire Blast is unique among WoW specs. But the gameplay is essentially âspam fireball until shiny lights pop up then fire blast pyro and go back to fireball spamâ. A bit too simple for me. I think Phoenix Flames or whatever itâs called from Legion should have been baked in as a baseline ability instead of a talent. I think the Dragonâs Breath auto-crit talent should be baseline, and instead the talent should increase the range. Generally I just favor things that add to the rotation, because too many specs have overly basic base rotations and the talent options that add to them are often not âoptimalâ.
Prot Warrior:
Unreliable AoE damage. Does any other tank spec have to pop a cooldown prior to a pull to be able to get aggro on the pull? Because thatâs basically what Prot Warrior is. Either run the Avatar talent that reduces the cooldown of Thunderclap and go into pulls with that active, and/or run the (talent? Might be Azerite, I forgot) that makes Demo Shout give Rage, so you can pop that and actually have resources to use Revenge without the proc. I donât generally have issues getting threat between those 2 things and the standard thunderclap CD, but idk, it just feels kind of unintuitive a lot of the time, especially in Mythic+ where youâre going between pulls quickly.
The talent that increases the range of Thunderclap helps quite well with the agroo
And Lucid essence allows you to use Revenge more due to the Rage return
Itâs not usually the range thatâs an issue, itâs that I might finish a pull then have thunderclap on CD, which means either wait the 5 seconds before pulling again or blowing a cooldown of some sort to be able to AoE into the next pull.
Meanwhile Prot Paladin has a 3s CD on ground AoE, 2 charges on oGCD AoE with the same CD as Thunderclap, 2 charges on yet another AoE, and a 3-target âcleaveâ that resets when hit.
I dislike survival being melee and would like to have a third range spec back. I only see my hunter as having two specializations currently.
The sound that shield slam makes. The most hard hitting ability in a prot warriors arsenal sounds like a frying pan.
Getting hit by a frying pan hurts. A lot.
