A Thief in The Desert (RP Thread - OOC)

(This is Kalisandrah, I’m just using this avatar right now, since bnet won’t cooperate and let me change characters at the moment. I apologize if the sign up is a bit long; I had to reanalyze my former Alliance main Regina’s character, to add this one into her story and try to make something original out of it.)

Name: Kristina Lystarian
Age: 24
Race: Gilnean Worgen
Class: Druid
Appearance:
Human Form- In her human form, Kristina stands at 5’3, bares a slender, yet toned build, with pale skin, long, pale gold hair and soft jade-silver eyes. Dark grey druidic tattoos decorate her arms, shoulders, lower back, and dot her face under her eyes as well. A deep, bite wound scar can also be seen near the nape of her neck, and the top of her collarbone, from the feral worgen that had bitten her.
Worgen Form- In her worgen form, she stands at 6’3, has thick, silvery-white fur, tuft ears like a frost wolf, and soft, silver-green eyes.
Brief History: Having lived under the custody of her father; a lord of minor nobility in Gilneas, Kristina now takes her place as his successor, as he had not managed to bear any sons in his lifetime. In spite this path, Kristina had shown promise in learning to become a druid like her birth mother Regina Layton, rather than choose the path of a hunter like her father had.

At the age of six, she began her training as a harvest witch under the wing of her stepmother Rosanne and over time, she learned to use her abilities to sustain crops, and heal the wounded and the sick. When the curse later broke out within the kingdom, Kristina had been one of the survivors within the city, aiding those who could not defend themselves, only to later become one of the infected after being cornered within an ally.

After Gilneas’s fall, and losing many of those she cared for to both the feral worgen and Forsaken attackers, she arrived within Teldrassil, where she had spent healing both mentally and physically from everything she had suffered during her kingdom’s fall. When her road to recovery ended, she was sent to Moonglade, to further her training. When she was later deemed ready to exercise her training in the field, she chose to travel to the Western Plaguelands to help heal the land of its corruption. There she had met a male, high elven ranger by the name of Kaldrian Silverwing and worked with him, throughout their campaign within the region. Over the following years, the pair became close, and later married and bore a son name Kaidren (I’m aware that the curse can’t be transferred through genetics, so I won’t be flirting with lore breaks). However, it wasn’t until the burning of Teldrassil that shattered their relative peace after the Legion’s fall, which led to her husband’s death in the wake of the world tree’s destruction. Though the druidess and her now five year old son survived, Kristina now finds herself having to choose between focusing on her duty to heal Azeroth from her wounds, and avenging those who had fallen during Teldrassil’s destruction.
Reason for Joining: Kristina had observed what Azerite was capable of, and with that in mind, she does not desire to have the substance fall into the wrong hands. However, the offer also presents a chance to reclaim a portion of her family’s wealth that they had lost during the kingdom’s fall.

sure, you can rp with us anytime even if you arent on a rp server, it’s how i come to love rp myself too.

i use to belong to a tanaris realm myself, so i won’t judge.

All right, just pulled in back at home, so…I should be able to post soon once I unload the vehicle :stuck_out_tongue:

(b^-^)b Coolio there mori-o
(hawkens btw for those who dont know)

Is this going to be the OOC thread too?

If so, just a reminder that I refer to Raede as himself, but he introduces himself as Shadow. So your characters do not know his name is Raede (unless at some point he tells you, which I doubt will happen.) So if you have any conversations with Raede, remember to call him Shadow.

ya i will edit it shortly.

I’ll edit my post after work.

Edit: May not be able to post until later tonight, since I offered to work double tonight and overtime the next two days.

Oh, the misadventures of the uninformed attempting to make small talk, heh heh. Nightwillow is about to learn what a vulpera is.

Demon hunters are scary business though for those with things to hide.

Alright, I got my rewritten post up, I was having a hard time finding a proper starting point. And yeah, since this character is branching off from my former Alliance main Regina (Kristy is her eldest child), I’m still trying to flesh her history and personality out, to where she is not just a carbon copy of her.

Luckily for you, Raede prefers to forget that he’s a demon hunter. He used to be a rogue. He doesn’t even use glaives, he uses one handed swords. He doesn’t have horns and he keeps his tattoos covered.

He’s a bit of a people watcher but doesn’t make hasty judgements

((The real reason Raede is a demon hunter is that I absolutely suck at playing rogue.))

Give a link to the IC

Kaleli is finding herself in a tougher and tougher situation…

Time to suck it up buttercup!

Demon hunter is more fun to play than rogue, in my opinion. More flips and cool tattoos!

Saving this for reasons.

Just to clarify, Aanka–Nightwillow currently has his hood up, so his topknot is not readily visible.

don’t worry. I’m sure she’ll soon give you a reason to use it.

Also want to mark here, for reasons of clarity, her duffel bag contains;

2x Felsteel Swords in a harness
A small assortment of throwing knives and daggers of various lengths
A grappling hook and a length of cord
Two revolver pistols with ergonomic grips and holsters
Her book A Brief History of the Alliance
Spyglass
Makeup/disguise kit
Black Leather armor akin to her armory picture.

So she is technically unarmed since the duffel bag is closed and she’s given no indication that she has any weaponry or what her style is.

Yeah, Kristy is not going to stoop to the level of hating certain horde or undead races, just because she has her own reputation as a diplomat for the circle and various other neutral groups to maintain, and she does have blood relations in the Horde through her late husband and son. Not to mention that trope has been played out too much in my Alliance characters.
