Increase valor stone drops so that you get enough per upgrade for the dropped gear ilvl if that dungeon and even more if you didn’t get any loot from the dungeon. This will help funnel people into m+ if they want to upgrade gear and it’ll give value to lower m+. On top of providing a stronger benefit if you didn’t get gear.
Not sure how you’d work this in with crests, maybe increase those too if you didn’t get any loot.
Imo valorstones are pretty easy to get, especially if you do an Echo with a raid group. Like 400+ for 5 minutes (not counting the time to run 5 empowred delves)
Id like to see more gold from M+. 52 gold regardless of key level just isnt enough. If it was 500 gold that would be somewhat better. At least it would cover repair costs and a bit left over for consumables.
Another thing they could do is give a token to buy a piece of gear like S4 DF.
Lets say you do 3 M+ 4-6 and this would gove 3 pieces for a token to buy a Champion piece of Trinket, Gear, Rings and Neck, or Cloak.
7-10+ would give token for Hero gear of the same system.
Not sure if they would pull this off and reserve only for last season. I think whats more likely if you dont get loot in a run you will get a token as a form of bad luck protection and then following your idea on track level.
I think it’s important to account for the time it takes to run delves. But the conversation is about m+ not delves. Your first point goes exactly against my suggestion in that it’s easier to get what you need in delves vs m+.
Your last suggestion though I like. Tokens for completed dungeons or timed, and can guarantee your loot drops that way
