But this isn’t canon and blizzard already told it. Customisation option is for rping, not for canon lore.
High Elf fans are annoying. Yes. But you Blizzard simp are way, way worse. The game is trash right now you are letting the devs get away with it.
The customizations we have in WoW are joke.
Mind provding everyone the conformation for this? Link? Video statement?
We can agree on that lel
What business is it of yours if someone RP’s as a high elf? lol, or even just runs around not on an RP server as a high elf… how does this affect you?
For the devs mistakes? No. For supporting those mistakes and this game for years with all the lies from said devs? To a certain extent yes.
My point however was simple.
This Person is simping in every thread for Blizzard, no matter what, ignoring the abouse, everything Bad about the game etc. and is making Fun of Players that expect better.
Players like that are part of the problem. It’s right in front of you.
I’m sorry, but this is where you are actually wrong on this. The Pro High Elf community is more interested in a goal of having the ability to play as an Alliance alligned High Elf. The behaviour of Blizzard, the mistakes by the devs, etc, we do not support. We’re one for happy to be recieving customisations on Void Elves to be able to play as an Alliance High Elf, but we do not support the bad behaviour.
Maybe I would think twice before blaming a community on something that is not true.
So the Alliance wanted its own version of fair skinned elf…and? It’s not criminal or immoral to ask for something that already exists on the other side. The company decided to answer that request. Your complaint is pointless right now.
Since we’re getting blonde and red shades, there is no reason why we cannot have Black (already exists in the files), Brown, and White.
I was not replaying to a pro High Elf player.
I replayd to a player that was mocking your position.
Can people like you even read before you go on a illogical rant?
Right now you are. You are also taking sides with a player that’s against High Elves.
I wish that was true. Some of you yes.
Others are spamming the forums reddit etc. Some are even spaming threads about other races and crying that they didn’t get High Elves and no one else should get a single skin because of it. Even though you can with 9.15 create a High Elf.
Maybe read what you are attacking next time.
Players defending Blizzard at every turn and attacking players that want more customization are part of the problem.
Thank you so much! This is really appreciated!
It’s weird that they don’t have dark brown and dark red hair.
Question about the black color added in the ptr. So when I took a closer look it’s actually a darker blue and not the actual black that the blood elf’s have. Because when I was on my blood elf the color was between the light blue shades. Was it supposed to be black?
It is the exact same black that Blood Elves have. Maybe it looks different in character creation due to lighting, but I guarantee it’s the same. I can even prove it:
See this circled sections? These are bits of the Blood Elf hair detail/jewelry texture that are showing on this Void Elf hairstyle due to bugged mapping.
It’s the same black that Blood Elves have as hair color #13
What it is not, however, is the deeper, truer, less saturated black that some Void Elf NPC’s sport. Example:
Unfortunately that black hair texture is actually what the transmog UI uses to “hide” our character model when showing us items in the UI. It’s not suitable as it is, to be used as a player hair texture. As you can see, the tentacles have no texture/glowy animation. Here’s a closer look at that hair texture:
It’s missing the data for the eyebrows, hair tentacles, braids (not that Void Elves have any yet), and the hair accessory.
Wish we had that black…
Me too, but I won’t complain about what we’re getting. I’ll be content with my hair color options once 9.1.5 hits. Not that I would snub my nose at more, I just don’t feel the need to ask for more.
This is all really good stuff. Now if Blizzard can add something to optionally, hide the visual effects of Entropic Embrace, that would basically be perfect for me on the High Elf stuff front. Next we need some proper Void themed options such as a full set of slicked back Void Tendrils for Males & Braided Void Tendrils for Females.
Overall still good stuff and thanks Bliz
In a perfect world, Blizzard would have just updated the black hair texture that the Void Elf NPC’s use for player use. It would look something like this:
Yeah. Nah. In so far as high elves are concerned, I’m good. I said if we got natural hair colors, I’d stop. We got blonde, red, brown, black, white, orange. A solid from me.
Now… About them void options .
Them would be very nice in a future update. Velves don’t need the love right now, but in the future, allied races need attention first.
I mean, this is a pretty good chart to start with. This was… I believe just prior to Shadowlands launch, so 9.1.5 options aren’t included.
Velves will move higher up with their new hair/ear options. Maybe not significantly higher, but probably by a factor of 50ish. So, velf females to 50M options and velf males to 100M. That puts them below Mag’har and Mechagnome males, but above females of the same races.
But still, it’d look like the next options would be Dark Irons and Vulpera. Vulpera need some hair styles, imo. One could make the argument that Worgen (and to a slightly lesser extent Undead) are a core race and should get priority over an allied race. Probably priority could be assigned based on a combination of combination count (above) and a count of player-characters made with that race.
Regardless, as much as I’d absolutely drool over some voidy options for velves, I’m afraid it’s hard to justify their getting priority.
EDIT: I’m tired. 2x3 is not 5, it is 6. So, updated the estimated factor gain of void elves from 40 to 50.
I have to ask…15 days later. Why do you even care? You’re bald anyway.
Wigs maybe? Or is it Toupee’s for men? Gah!!
