Talking about shamans in p2-3 as if half the ppl they were crumping werent missing nearly 800hp because theyre still in gnomer dps gear or using those dumb pots had nothing to do with it.
Also paladins are horrible in pvp (the people, not the class)
if 1 ele shaman is taking down your entire raid of 6+ people, you need to delete the game and play something waaaaaaaaay easier cause you and your 6+ people are absolute dogwater at the game and shouldnt play.
just being honest here.

well i highly doubt that but yes the class is very overpowered and easy
dude is basically saying him and his entire raid are terrible and cant mop up on 1 person.
were the raid underleveled ? or like somehow had 2000+ ping or something?
its hard to believe anyone is that bad that they cant 6v1 1 person.
is anyone dispelling/silencing/kicking/stunning/ect on the shaman at all?
like how bad do you have to be to not be able to 6v1 someone.

You didnt get the Memo? this is Season of Shamans. The Only other reason your class exists so shamans can farm you.
Man reading this makes me laugh as blizzard did the least work on shamans and almost made them the only class without reworks for tww and in the process of fixing them broke them, and then had one hero talent treee not even functioning. The joke about shamans in retail is they will fix them from being crap in the .1 patch, itâs actually wild how little blizzard knows about shamans and how much they DONT CARE ABOUT shamans.
The reality is, no one really mains a shaman on the dev team so sometimes they do dumb things like create burn rune as a fix and have no clue how to actually make ele shaman a competitive or strong pve class without destroying the pvp balance in SoD. If they were smart they would have never made lava burst because it actually makes the class weaker in PvP because half of your power scales 0âwith crit, and has been an age old problem with ele shaman.
Recently someone revived the bus shock in a retail thread and they were banned for 50 years. This was after blizz went through an entire alpha and nearly beta without a single shaman fix for the entire new expansion.
Sod is an anomaly where shamans are favored, the class is usually dog tier in retail so I enjoy SoD for being the one version of the game where my class isnât terrible.
Retail is doing a good job in terms of pvp balance for many years. Every spec is glad-viable and with introduction of RSS and Rated solo q bgs (TWW), also r1 viable (you compete with players of your own spec there). I donât remember any spec, except tanks, to be unplayable in modern wow.
SoD team is just trying too hard not to separate pvp from pve.
Glad viable and representation on the ladder in actuality are 2 different things. Enhance has been dog water for many seasons more than it hasnât between legion to now.
Anything CAN get glad, thatâs viable. But some spec are absolutely sub optimal in doing so.
Hell paladins and all classes in SoD are all VIABLE in PvP. You CAN kill anyone. But obviously some are significantly more optimal for the job.
SoD has no competetive modes >> no measurement of playerâs pvp skill >> canât gather statistics to have a clear understanding who is under/overperforming.
Glad is the highest achievement for a casual gamer. If you main retail, you are able to reach it consistently as any class/spec - that is all that matters.
In SoD you just q bg and get stomped by a bunch of semi-premades stacking fotm specs and there is nothing you can do, because game is balanced around pve logs and has 0 matchmaking so you constantly get undergeared/afk players on your side no matter how you perform.
