[A-RP] <Wayfarers Anchorage> an RP Housing Guild

A Notice of Residence, Posted in Several Ports of Call
By order of the Countess de Aviline, Steward of Driftholme Isle

*Driftholme Isle has long been a place apart; a stretch of land where the tides keep their own counsel and the mist holds its secrets close. It has sheltered sailors, scholars, wanderers, and those who have simply run out of road. It does so still.

By appointment of His Majesty King Anduin Wrynn, Countess Caela de Aviline serves as Steward of Driftholme Isle, charged with cultivating a community worthy of the Crown’s trust. Under her governance, Wayfarers’ Anchorage has taken root; a settlement built not on conquest or coin, but on the promise that those who arrive with good intent will find a place to belong.

The Anchorage is seeking new residents. Those with trades to ply, skills to offer, or simply the desire for a place to settle are welcome to make inquiry. Driftholme Isle offers shelter, community, and the rare dignity of a fresh start. In return, the Anchorage asks good faith, honest dealing, and a willingness to weather the occasional storm alongside your neighbors.

If the open sea has brought you this far, perhaps Driftholme is where you were headed all along.

Inquiries may be directed to the offices of the Anchorage, or to any member of the Driftholme Small Council.***

Campaign Message — For the People of Driftholme

Driftholme deserves arcane guidance that serves the island, not overshadows it. I am not running to make magic more powerful or more exclusive. I am running to help make it understandable, accountable, and safe for mages and non-mages alike. If elected as Arcane Advisor, my focus will be:

• Establishing clear protocols for magical concerns and emergencies

• Honest assessments of risks, artifacts, and spellwork

• Guidance that explains why something is dangerous, not just that it is

•Support for those affected by magic, regardless of whether they wield it

The Spire exists to teach and advise. Not to rule. Its doors are open for consultation, education, and assessment because magic does not belong to a single order or tower. It belongs to the community that lives with its consequences.

If you want an Arcane Advisor who values restraint as much as knowledge and clarity, I would be honored to serve.

Driftholme Spire Update

The Spire is currently undergoing a series of thoughtful refurbishments aimed at long-term instruction. As part of this growth, we are seeking mentors and teachers across all fields of magic—traditional, hybrid, and unconventional alike.

Those interested in teaching, advising, or contributing their experience to a public-facing arcane institution are encouraged to inquire. Practical wisdom, ethical awareness, and patience are valued over spectacle or prestige.

Royal Proclamation

Announcing the First Small Council of Driftholme Isle

By Countess Caela de Aviline, Royal Steward of Driftholme Isle

TO ALL INHABITANTS OF DRIFTHOLME ISLE:

Let it be known throughout our community that on the fifteenth day of the second month, the residents of Driftholme Isle have spoken. Through fair election and by the will of those who call this sanctuary home, four worthy individuals have been chosen to serve on the First Small Council of our beloved Isle.

It has been my great honor to witness the dedication with which our residents approached this civic duty. Each nomination was thoughtful, each vote cast with care for our community’s future. This is democracy in action; the voices of free people shaping their own governance within the framework of Alliance law and Crown authority.

I DO HEREBY CERTIFY the following election results and FORMALLY APPOINT these individuals to their respective seats on the Small Council:

THE DEFENSE COORDINATOR

Korfawn Eagleheart

In Korfawn Eagleheart, we have found a guardian of proven mettle and unwavering dedication. As Defense Coordinator, he shall work alongside me to maintain our Isle’s security, coordinate our defenses, and ensure that all residents know how to respond should danger threaten our shores. Under his watchful eye, may Driftholme remain a safe haven for all who dwell here.

THE ARCANE ADVISOR

Archmage Faeldrey Bloodrend

The Archmage brings formidable expertise in the mystical arts to our Council. As Arcane Advisor, they shall counsel us on matters of magic, oversee our ley lines and portal networks, and ensure that arcane power is wielded safely and responsibly within our borders. May their wisdom guide us through the complexities of magic, and may their knowledge protect us from mystical threats.

THE INTELLIGENCE DIRECTOR

Malbeth

Malbeth understands that vigilance and information are our first lines of defense. As Intelligence Director, they shall develop and maintain our intelligence network, keep the Council informed of potential threats, and alert our community should danger draw near. Through their watchful efforts, may we never be caught unaware, and may knowledge be our shield.

THE SPIRITUAL ADVISOR

Sir Deaglann Drakemere

Sir Deaglann brings both martial honor and spiritual depth to our Council. As Spiritual Advisor, he shall minister to the souls of our residents, provide pastoral care and guidance, and counsel the Council on matters where faith and governance intersect. May the Light shine through his service, and may all who seek spiritual comfort find it under his care.

VACANT SEATS

The seats of Harbor Master, Artisan Representative, and Community Liaison remain unfilled at this time.

Special elections for these three positions shall be held on the first day of the third month.

Any resident in good standing who wishes to serve in one of these vital capacities is encouraged to nominate themselves or another worthy candidate. Nominations are open and candidates shall be announced in the Town Hall.

Until these seats are filled, I shall personally oversee the portfolios of harbor operations, artisan affairs, and community hospitality with the assistance of the current Council members.

The Council’s Charge

To each of you who have accepted this responsibility, I offer both my congratulations and my solemn charge:

Serve with honor. You represent not yourselves alone, but all who call Driftholme home. Let integrity guide your every action.

Serve with wisdom. The decisions we make today shape our community’s tomorrow. Consider carefully, listen deeply, and counsel truthfully.

Serve with dedication. The work ahead will not always be easy or glamorous. There will be disputes to mediate, problems to solve, and challenges to overcome. Rise to meet them.

Serve with unity. Though you may disagree on methods or approaches, you share a common purpose: the welfare and prosperity of Driftholme Isle. Let respect bind you together even when opinions differ.

You do not serve me; you serve our community. I am honored to work alongside each of you in this great endeavor.

To the Community

To all residents of Driftholme Isle, these are your councilors. They speak for you, work for you, and answer to you. Support them in their efforts. Bring them your concerns and ideas. Hold them accountable to the trust you have placed in them.

The Small Council shall convene for its inaugural session on the twentieth day of this month at the eighth bell of evening in the Council chambers. All residents are welcome to attend and observe, though only councilors may speak unless specifically invited to address the Council.

Together, Steward, Council, and community, we shall build something worthy of the Alliance values we hold dear. We shall create a place where the weary find rest, the lost find purpose, and all who seek honest lives find welcome.

This is not the end of our work, but the beginning.

GIVEN under my hand and seal this sixteenth day of the second month,

In gratitude and in hope,

Countess Caela de Aviline
Royal Steward of Driftholme Isle
By Authority of His Majesty Anduin Wrynn, High King of the Alliance

PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE: GARY THE BLACK SHEEP CONTINUES CAMPAIGN OF STRUCTURAL REARRANGEMENT

Residents are advised that Gary (female, unapologetic, square-shaped) has once again breached three fences, displaced multiple cobblestones, and was last seen staring down a warded gate until it opened out of what witnesses describe as “professional intimidation.” Efforts to redirect Gary with vegetables and a strongly worded lecture on municipal zoning have failed. The Drift reminds citizens that Gary is not to be challenged or negotiated with, or enrolled in militia drills, regardless of how confidently she stands in formation.

MYSTERIOUS OUTAGE: STREETLIGHTS REFUSE TO LIGHT, BLAME UNCLEAR, MOOD IMPROVED
Several residents have reported that exterior lights across Driftholme have ceased functioning, creating what one citizen described as “a romantic atmosphere” and another described as “a lawsuit waiting to happen.” Arcane technicians insist the enchantments are intact but “philosophically unmotivated,” while at least one mage claims the lights are “respecting natural darkness.” Until a solution is found, residents are encouraged to carry lanterns or walk exclusively with someone who glows.

TOWN SQUARE MANIFESTS, CIVIC PRIDE IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWS
In what urban planners are calling “intentional design,” the central district of Driftholme has coalesced into a proper town square, now neatly containing the Town Hall, the Spire, the Infirmary, and the Barracks in a configuration that suggests either careful planning or suspiciously helpful geography. Citizens report increased loitering and a sudden sense that important things happen there, though no one is entirely sure what those things are yet. A bench has allegedly already been claimed by one cat.

CLASSIFIEDS
Lost: One functioning streetlight. If found, please explain how.
Wanted: Volunteer to tell Gary “no” in a firm but respectful tone.
Remember: if you hear hoofsteps behind you, it is already too late.

SECOND DEAD HEIFER DISCOVERED

“COW-KILLER STILL AT LARGE; DRIFT OFFERS REWARD OF QUESTIONABLE VALUE”

*Driftholme woke this week to a grim tableau in the Town Square: a heifer. Deceased. Artfully placed like someone was trying to make a statement about civic planning… or dairy. This marks the second cow found dead. The first, apparently was discovered somewhere on the coast.
The Driftholme Drift is issuing the only responsible response: a bounty. We are officially offering one ceremonial “Hero of Bovine Justice” sash, two drink tickets redeemable at any participating tavern, and the honor of ringing the Town Hall bell exactly once to whomever apprehends the alleged Cow-Killer or at minimum, provides information that prevents Driftholme from becoming the first settlement in recorded history to be haunted exclusively by beef-related mysteries.
Residents are reminded:
If you see someone dragging a cow through town, do not assume it’s “for cooking.” Ask follow-up questions.

RUMORS SWIRL AS SPIRE “CLASSIFIED INCIDENT” PROMPTS LOCKDOWN

“SECRET ROOM SEALED, RUMOR ASSUMES WORLD-ENDING THREAT BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT ALWAYS HAPPENS”

In the latest installment of Things That Would Be Normal Anywhere Else But Here, multiple residents report that a previously unremarked-upon chamber within Driftholme Spire is now under tight lockdown following what officials have described very helpfully as an “incident.” The word “incident,” of course, can mean anything from “someone spilled tea on a rune” to “a mirror showed the future and it screamed.”
Sources describe increased ward activity, restricted access, and one staff member loudly insisting, “It is not sentient,” which is usually something you say about a room only when you are losing an argument with it.
The Drift has assembled the most likely explanations, in order of probability:

  1. A dangerous relic was found and is now being responsibly contained.
  2. A harmless relic was found and is now being dramatically contained.
  3. Someone opened a door they should not have opened.
  4. Classic world-ending threat (void, old god, cosmic hunger, time loop, a talking dagger, etc.).
  5. Gary did it.

THE SUNWELL IS UNDER SIEGE (AGAIN)

“OPERATION SUNWELL” BEGINS AS XAL’ATATH BRINGS THE VOIDSTORM OVER QUEL’THALAS

Across Azeroth, the newest crisis has the decency to be increasingly dramatic: a massive Voidstorm has arrived over Quel’Thalas threatening to “extinguish all light and cover the world in darkness,” because the Void is nothing if not committed to branding.
According to official briefings, Xal’atath, the Harbinger has launched an invasion that strikes into the heart of the blood elf homelands, Eversong Woods and Silvermoon City, with the Sunwell as the central flashpoint. The situation is dire enough that Horde and Alliance forces are fortifying inside Silvermoon’s streets together, with the city functioning as a shared hub with a portion reserved for the Horde and the rest accessible cross-faction as both sides push back the Void.
The early campaign structure begins in Eversong Woods, then branches into two parallel efforts: tackling threats in Zul’Aman and investigating the strange roots and secrets of Harandar. Once those immediate fires are stamped out, they will take the fight into the Voidstorm itself where Xal’atath has established a foothold.
And because the universe loves symmetry, the conflict is building toward major operations tied to a direct push onto the Sunwell Plateau to defend it against Xal’atath’s Void forces, culminating in a confrontation at something termed the “Darkwell.” (The Drift’s legal department would like to clarify: we do not love the phrase “Darkwell.” We do not endorse it. We do not want it.)
Driftholme residents are encouraged to remain calm and remember: if you hear someone say “this is only the beginning,” they are likely a villain.

Hello guys,

I was searching for a chill guild to hang around with while having some light and fun RP in-between my PvE escapades, and yours catch me eye, it sounds interesting and funny (lol at Gary whom ever that is). Are you guys just Housing RP or also a guild? If so, do you still have plots/recruitment available?
