[A-RP] <The Twenty Sixth>

IC Intro:

“Loyalty, respect, courage, and force.” These four words describe the Twenty-Sixth. Fully named Stormwind’s Twenty-Sixth Assault Regiment, the military unit was rather recently founded, made of a collage of soldiers reassigned from retired or overstaffed regiments. The Twenty-Sixth find themselves inhabiting a hastily constructed keep in the Northwestern Stonetalon Mountains, tucked in a valley along the coast. With a host of mediocre defenders stationed at the keep, dubbed Battlescar. The Twenty-Sixth now seeks to assemble a relatively small, somewhat elite force designed for assault, support, and pincer operations, primarily in Kalimdor. No enemy force can simply be discouraged by defending towns, cities and peoples. They must be snuffed out, thoroughly and efficiently.

The best defense is a good offense, after all.

OOC:

Thank you for finding yourself here someway somehow, first and foremost. You have found yourself at <The Twenty Sixth>’s recruitment forum thread, if you didn’t catch that just yet.

What we provide:

Military Environment: <The Twenty Sixth> is made and designed to offer an immersive, satisfactory military environment for any and all roleplayers who desire such surroundings. Of course, being a military guild a certain behavior is expected of those who join, at least on an IC level. For example, if you are a lone wolf styled, edgy demon hunter who decides to threaten the GM during recruitment, you likely will not be invited. <The Twenty Sixth> is not meant to bolster large numbers, but a small community of close-knit friends, somewhat similar to a family environment. We do not tolerate troublemakers or drama. Despite this environment, we require no real uniform. We only request that you wear the tabard to guild events and activities.

Friendly OOC Environment: While we have the potential to be very strict ICly, OOCly we understand that everyone is just here to have fun. We strive for surroundings that everyone feels welcomed to. As an extension of this, you will typically not be reprimanded OOCly for IC behaviors, unless something you do crosses the line, though with a bit of common sense, that should not be an issue. If IC drama ever turns into an OOC problem, it will be dealt with quickly. We do not foster hateful, spiteful attitudes on an OOC level, especially toward one another.

Everyone Matters: From an IC standpoint, any player can be important. You will never be thrust into a position where the setting is made to build around your character and place them at the center, though you as a player have the ability to put your character into such a position through action. You will not be scorned for being unique and yourself.

We do not provide:

Dark/Crime RP: <The Twenty Sixth> does not participate in dark, criminal, or otherwise shady roleplay themes. It is strongly advised that any member of the guild avoid being heavily involved with themes on characters that are placed in the guild.

You may seek out Steelemantle or Certainly with inquiries about joining as well as other questions.

It’s good to see the remnants of the 13th still around. Hope to see you boys in-game!
