[A-RP-PvP] Kul Tiras Marines

We are not a guild that is active overnight. Most of our membership is late 20s to mid 30s, so most start logging off around 10-11 PM local time. We do have members spread across North America so it’s not an issue for North American players (or at least those that don’t work overnight :grinning:), but even our west coast players would be logging off too early.

Our guild doesn’t discriminate and I would bet there are few guilds as diverse as ours when it comes to percentage of players who aren’t white. We have several women in our guild and have created a safe space with zero tolerance for ERP. If someone approaches them, they are out, we don’t put up with that junk. If a member comes at someone based off their race, religion, gender, or identity, they will not be a member much longer. All that said, we don’t tolerate culture wars extremism in our discord or guild chat.

Beyond that, I’ll give an honest answer about LGBTQ, I don’t know anymore. Little over a year ago I would responded yes without hesitation. We moved to Moon Guard back in October and eventually stumbled upon the secrets website so now I am aware there are varying opinions on what constitutes LGBTQ friendliness. If you want to play with people that don’t care what gender you have sex with, respect what gender you identify with, and just want to slay some Horde or adventure in game, then yes, we are. If the expectation is we force everyone to fill out their pronouns in TRP, then I guess we aren’t, cause we don’t. I feel like that is a honest answer rather than a simple yes on what was previously an inadvertently disrespectful assumption that all LGBTQ people would have the same thought on the topic.

I knew from the first question we wouldn’t be a good fit, but felt I should answer all your questions rather than any dodging since others might have them.

If I could make a suggestion, it would be to hunt down Jetamio, she is an officer with the Kul Tiras Tenth Fleet. They actually have a recent post on this forum for recruitment. While they are more focused on the D&D type campaigns than we are, they are good people with great D&D type events. Best of all, I believe they have a few members who are in the Oceanic time zone where the time of play lines up. They are also very accepting to LGBTQ players in my eyes. I’d at least reach out to them and see if it’s a group you would like.

Thank you very much for your through reply. Probably not a good scheduling fit, but you all sound like a good group.
