Like the guilds name sake, Malorne, the order has returned!
Originally founded in the early history of World of Warcraft, the Order of Malorne was one of the largest Kaldorei-centric roleplaying guilds on the server. Known for its quality in “living world” roleplay style, deep understanding of lore, and character focused story arcs, we seek to bring these experiences back as apposed to solely event based roleplay.
Our Pillars of Play:
I. Cultural Anchor: Kaldorei culture is the foundation of the guild and is often a key factor the in narrative with a particular focus on their responsibility to nature. While Kaldorei culture is the heartbeat of the order, it has been recognized that the defense of nature is a shared burden and thus we welcome the allies of the wilds- those who share our reverence for the Balance.
II. A Living World:
- A Sanctuary for Walk-Ups: Whether you are at Bel’ameth, Moonglade, our own Guild Neighborhood, or even the Park our goal is a “log in and play” environment. You should be able to find a sister or brother-in-arms for spontaneous RP on a random Tuesday night.
- Our Own Neighborhood: We are utilizing the 2026 Housing System to establish a dedicated guild hub. This isn’t just a place to park your character; it’s our headquarters, our sanctuary, and a living piece of landscape you get to help shape!
- Small Groups, Big Impact: While we will have the occasional event, our heartbeat is small-to-medium group RP. We believe that character development happens best in the quiet moments—the training sessions, exploration, the patrols, and the fireside debates.
- Every Character Matters: You aren’t “Soldier #20*.”* You are a vital thread in the tapestry of the Order. Your personal story, your growth, and your choices will directly influence the guild’s narrative.
III. Legacy Standard:

Lore Enjoyers: Do you enjoy learning about and discussing the WoW Canon? Awesome! We do too. The established lore is our standard of play, but we don’t use it as a weapon. We enjoy healthy, friendly discussions about the nuances found within the Kaldorei culture and the wider world. We are here to explore the story together, not gatekeep it.

Safe Space for Writers: This is a sanctuary for writers, creatives, and roleplayers—for you! I have a zero-tolerance policy for OOC drama. My philosophy is simple: if you can’t resolve a personal conflict yourselves and it reaches my desk? If I receive concerning messages about your actions or behavior? The door is that way. I am here to be a guild leader and a storyteller, not a parent.
Why we do this: Being creative is hard. Being creative in a public space for others to see is harder. Collaborating with a group to develop a narrative in a living world is the hardest of all. I’m not here to make anyone’s life more difficult; I’m here to facilitate a safe, stable space where everyone can enjoy the game and the stories we build.

Wishing you all the best! I had plenty of fond memories back in the OoM days, and plenty of wonderful friends. I hope that you guys are able to rebuild to your former marvellous glory, and bring fresh life into the Kaldorei RP scene!

Well the short answer is they seem to have a place in Bel’ameth carved out just for them and even death knights. That is a clear indicator of at least a small sign of acceptance. This is a Kaldorie culture guild so the goal is to reflect all aspects of that people and their allies so yes they are welcome.

I’ve wanted to find a Kaldorei-adjacent guild for my hunter here, and this has my interest. I’ve always RPed Sarillynn as having a respect for Night Elven culture and way of life as far back as my early days in Cataclysm, and could never find a guild for her niche on WrA that stuck. Would a nature-oriented Void Elf be welcome?

So we look forward to anyone joining the guild so long as their stories, morals, and goals alline with the Order. As long as the characters ideals and goals go with the order we do not discriminate.

This looks fantastic.
I miss when roleplay was spontaneous, and stories happened from characters interacting and working together instead of sign-ups and calendar dates. So much of this guild concept seems exactly what my RP partner and I have been looking for for a long time. I’ll drop an application in game this afternoon.

Hi y’all!
I just wanted to swing by and say how much of a treat this last month or so has been!
I’m a former member and officer from the early days of OoM, and when Jahlam reached out during Midnight EA telling me ‘the band’s getting back together’?— Imagine my happy dance at the thought!
I wiggled my way back into the fold, and could not be any more excited and proud to see Lissali and Jahlam dusting off the cobwebs of such a cherished memory of mine in the 2010’s era of my life.
Though I may not be Mercy or Faelweyn anymore, I cannot wait to help contribute to this community, and I hope there are some people out there looking to do the same with me; To honour the Order of Malorne that was, I invite anyone with even just the curiosity of what the guild represented or embraced to shoot me a message, I would love to share with you all the stories and the current vision and dream for where the Order plans to adventure next!
You’ll see more from me down the line, of course, so don’t get tired of me yet!

The order is up and running and some preliminary events are already set up on board. I encourage people to message anybody with the guild tag, or reach out to the names listed in the Original Post.
It seems the band is indeed returning, and the stakes are quite different than they were in Cataclysm, it should make for some excellent story telling.

The Order is growing yall, we have had our first ceremony/gathering, our neighborhood is growing steady and we have a Inn and a Guild Hall built along with people living in The Antlered Grove. New members are joining and old members are finding their way home. Everyone is helping to define what the order is and who calls it home bring new ideas and freshness to the nature loving guild. Tonight we spent some time reflecting on what kind of response we’ve had in this return to the community, and it’s been abundantly clear what kind of effect the Order of Malorne had in times long past us now.
From the whispers received when out and about promoting the cause in-character, to the casual bump ins’ with old members from years gone by, this guild was more than a name in our server’s history, but also a welcoming and thoughtful community of friendships that seem to be able to withstand the trials of time!
We are so grateful and honoured to revitalize the joy this guild has brought so many, and to see the impact it’s made on so many, really, there’s nothing else we as humble roleplayers could ever ask for!
A very heartfelt thank you to Lissali and Jahlam, trusting me to once again come up to bat as an Officer as I had been back in Cataclysm times. While being a part-time student and part-time employee, my time is a bit stretched out, but every bit of free time I do get, I do my best to pour some love back into this community. So far, it’s been a complete redesign of the Guild Discord, as Jahlam mentioned! From the toe to the tip, the Discord is looking shinier and more polished as I work my grubby little mitts all over it! (Probably just all the skin oils, but nevertheless, the sheen is kind of astounding!)
