As you come across your travels, you would read a pamphlet that bore the blue “L” sigil of Lordaeron and an intriguingly familiar symbol of the Scarlet Crusade that was absently lacking any red but instead was the color of cerulean blue background with the white sigil of a very obvious Ashbringer sword embroidered in the bottom. Reading through, you would find a very passionate defense of the nobility of the original Scarlet Crusade as Alexandros Mograine intended it, devoid of Renault Mograine’s treachery and betrayal, and a unique take on the righteousness of Alexandros Mograine from pilgrims stylizing themselves as the ‘Poor Knights of Mograine and the Tirisfal Monasterium’, or loosely speaking, the Monasterium Templars who take unique vows from poverty and chastity to show their fealty and piety to the Holy Light.

IC: What is the gist of the Eternal Crusade, one might be wondering? The brief is that we are a unique faction that is pro-Alliance and is in our character’s minds the true continuation of the Scarlet Crusade but is uniquely devoid of the original Balnazzar possessed hierarchy’s corruption and treachery. Now free of the Nathrezim taint, the Eternal Crusade is the eternal vision that all Northlanders have to dream of not only a Lordaeron devoid of the Scourge and Lich King and plague (as Abbendis spoke fervently for in her Diary wishing for the Scarlet Crusade when she set sail to Northrend to form the Scarlet Onslaught) but ALL evil overall across the universe as a whole and not just Lordaeron or the Northlands.
While the color of red is associated with the bloodshed inflicted by the Scarlet Crusade, the Eternal Crusade has rebranded their colors to the blue of Lady Lordaeron that all Northlander’s fealty goes to and the same color of the Alliance of Mankind.
The symbolic use of the Scarlet Flame too is: while the Scarlet Flame is tarnished and tainted by the legacy of the CORRUPTION of the Ashbringer and the Patricide of the Mograine family patriarch by the hands of future Scarlet Commander Renault Mograine as his youngest son, the original and pure Ashbringer, Alexandros Mograine (that we are the pilgrims of) is the legacy of the REDEMPTION of the Ashbringer as the Highlord and leader of the Silver Hand after Uther passed. Thus, now the legacy of the Crusade is once again intertwined in its original noble roots Raleigh the Devout spoke of so many years ago that many were so willing then to serve with the “honor, loyalty, and pride” in a "noble cause".

The Eternal Crusade is the great composition of the Scarlet Crusade’s greatest mantras, prophesies, and ideals. What does this mean? This means we believe that we are truly a unique roleplay experience embedded into the lifeblood of canon lore itself and we stand upon our principles of what we believe.
You will hear constant Scarlet rhetoric throughout our faction, so let’s break this down.
The Crimson Dawn: Abbendis thought the Scarlet Onslaught was truly the Crimson Dawn.
“The Crimson Dawn to her was/is roughly the new foreseen era for the Scarlet Crusade to arise, an elite force made from only the strong of faith to do the Light’s bidding. This era will be that to return Lordaeron to its former glory. To a time before the Scourge. Before Arthas and regicide … before the Lich King.”
Scarlet Renegades: Known as open rebels to the Scarlet Crusade led by Joseph the Awakened, the plan involved bringing the Scarlet Monastery and the Scarlet Crusade back into the Alliance. Although this failed, the term was coined by one of Joseph’s top prodigees and survivors, Kormed Wolfheart, who would take on the title of the Awakened in the aftermath of his comrade’s death. However, this all changes for the Eternal Crusade. Once a Scarlet faction a part of the Alliance and in revolt to the Scarlet Crusade, this is no longer the case as the Scarlet Crusade’s time has come and out forth from it spews the Eternal Crusade that is the personification of the noble ideals the Scarlet Crusade wanted to uphold but could not live up to as the Crusade keeps its eternal vigil over the Northlands and all domains that are spawns or pits of evil.
How could the Eternal Crusade NOT fit this criteria? How could this prophecy of been correct and fulfilled if she was manipulated by Balnazzar and Nathrezim corruption defiled the sanctity of the Dawn?

Under the original Scarlet Crusade heirarchy, a Grand Crusader led at the top (Saidan Dathrohan) followed by his Crimson Legion while High General Abbendis held Tyr’s Hand and Isillen and Taelan held out in Hearthglen against the Scourge’s forces. Now rebranded as the Cerulean Legion, this is the elitist troopers in the Eternal Crusade.
Cerulean Legion: Distinguished by their Cerulean Legion Tabards (our [Illustrious Guild Tabard]), the Legion are the most elite forces of the Eternal Crusade and includes all of the most top tier officers in the ranks such as the Grand Crusader (Kormed) and Highlord (Vorisek) and High Priest (Sacerdote) themselves.
ETERNAL CRUSADE led by Grand Crusader Kormed Wolfheart (the umbrella title of all emcompassing groups):
The Eternal Legion is the overall name of the military forces loyal to the Eternal Crusade and led by Highlord Kian Kowley.
The Eternal Church of the Flame is the overall name of the spiritual forces loyal to the Eternal Crusade and led by High Priest Sacerdote Duskbane.
The Triumvirate is the name of the trio that leads the overall Crusade; Kormed-MoonGuard, Kian (Vorisek-MoonGuard), and Sacerdote (Sakerdote-MoonGuard).The Praetorians: Called the “Monastery Praetorians”, the Praetorians were once the greatest guardians of Tyr’s Hand for the Scarlet Crusade. After the Crusade’s collapse and the aftermath of Abbendis’s formation and ruination of the Scarlet Onslaught, the Praetorians were thought to be just as lost to time as the Liber Monasterium until they were brought back into the noble fold of the Eternal Crusade.
The Twinblades: Called the “Twinblades” after Valea Twinblades the Alteraci heroine (female hero) who dualwielded the infamous Twinblades, she is one of the greatest Scarlet Champions and uniquely of Alteraci heritage as is the Grand Crusader. Unique to this faction is the artifact, the Twinblades, which Valea wielded and was christened ‘Twinblades’ upon her Initiation into the Scarlet Crusade’s hallowed ranks decades ago. Last seen deep in the Eastern Plaguelands, if these Twinblades could be retrieved and returned to the Monasterium, this could have profound impacts on the Eternal Crusade’s faithful.
The Sunshields: Uniquely identified by their shields emblazoned with the sun
, the Sunshields are the greatest Defenders of the Eternal Crusade and modeled after Holia Sunshield who was killed while slaying the Dreadlord Beltheris. While Holia vanquished in her combat with Dreadlord Beltheris, the shield she bore in her defense, calledstrong text the Sunshield, was greviously damaged but was the lone object to survive and if this could be retrieved would bring great benefits to the hearts and souls of the Crusade’s most adamant Defenders.
The Bloodspears: Although certainly a surprising choice for an assassin, the Second and last Chief Assassin, Yana Bloodspear, who was born during Kael’thas’s imprisonment in Dalaran grew up in times of great despair. Seeing Archimonde rip Dalaran asunder was likely the last straw that drove this Dalaranian towards the Scarlet Crusade. Only equipped in her clothes she had and her spear, she took over the reins of assassinhood in the Scarlet Crusade in the aftermath of the First Chief Assassin’s death and the failed First Scarlet Expedition to Northrend where Invar One-Arm, the First Chief Assassin, was lost on the shores of Northrend where supposedly Invar’s missing arm awaits its return to the Monasterium as does Yana’s infamous and bloodthirsty spear, the Bloodspear, that is lighter than daggers and faster than a ray of Light. Were this able to be retrieved, it would be a great momento to the shadowy figures of the Scarlet Crusade who delve in assassinhood from the likes of Rohan to Yana and Invar and the nameless Scarlet Assassins.
The Stoenbrow First Squardon (Dwarves): The Stoenbrow Squad is the encompassing forces under the rightful heir of the Red Caverns, Dorgar Stoenbrow II. The Red Caverns were once Dwarven lands loyal to the Scarlet Crusade until Dorgar Stoenbrow’s passing. However, his successor is ripe and ready for the vengeance of his lost loved ones and the yearning desire to succeed in his father’s footsteps as Mountain King and Lord of the Red Caverns.
The Ranger Corps (Void/High/Blood Elves): Rangers once proudly served under the Scarlet Crusade as High Elven allies with their Silver Hand comrades in the defense of Lordaeron during the Scourge of Lordaeron. Now that the Crusade once again is affiliated with the Alliance and High Elvenkind, the elusive survivors of the ancient Farstrider Corps who take the clarion call to fight evil in all wherabouts of the universe are very welcomed allies and companions on the roads less traveled.
The Engineer Corps: Led by Alemed Haddinkov the Master Cannoneer, the Engineer Corps were some of the greatest allies of the Crimson Legion for Grand Crusader Kormed Wolfheart’s Scarlet reign. Now that time has surpassed, but House Haddinkov remains ever eternally loyal to House Wolfheart who saw combat in Alterac together for the Alterac kingdom long before the days of the Scarlet Crusade and in the present days of the pro-Alliance Eternal Crusade.

We have a very unique experience because of the lore presented through out our time! While most Scarlet groups focus on the corruption of the Scarlet Crusade and Renault Mograine’s corruption of the Ashbringer and the slaying of his father the pure Alexandros Mograine and Ashbringer, we are focusing instead on the legacy of the original Scarlet Crusade’s founding when it welcomed humans and dwarves and elves fresh from the Alliance of Lordaeron and deeply intertwined with their Silver Hand roots that we see by the time of Vanilla were visibly forsaken.
Originally a Scarlet Renegade faction trying to redeem the Scarlet Crusade, our characters now absolve their sins in the flesh of the infidel for the greater good of not just humankind along but humanoidkind as a whole including the human-like allies of elves, dwarves, and gnomes.
There are many instances we see where rebels of the Scarlet Crusade/Onslaught are welcomed with open arms. The Crimson Pilgrims of the Conclave in Legion who were focal in getting the Light’s Wrath staff and the near equivalent of the Ashbringer in power were it not for Balnazzar’s Nathrezim meddling. We also see the Scarlet Renegades of the Cataclysm led by Joseph the Awakened who were trying to bring the Scarlet Crusade back into the Alliance. Before that, we saw Raleigh the Devout trying to get pure hearted Alliance mercenaries to cleanse the “demented regime” of the Scarlet Monastery and Crusade that it had became since his days he joined when the cause was “noble and pure”.
So that is what makes us unique!
We are the Eternal Pilgrims now instead of the Crimson Pilgrims; we are the Eternal Crusade instead of the Scarlet Crusade. Why, you ask? This is because the Crimson Dawn that Abbendis prophesized about isn’t just the vision of a Lordaeron free of the Scourge’s taint, but ALL of humanity, Quel’Thalas, and the Northlands devoid of the Scourge and evil for ETERNITY. A goal bigger than the Scarlet Crusade was ever intended or formed to combat.
