Kingdom of Stromgarde
The Kingdom of Stromgarde seeks our long-lost brothers and sisters to rejoin us in the North! The (KoS) is a community and roleplaying guild representing the descendants of Arathor, those who have made their home in the Arathi Highlands, and those who seek out glory under the crimson eagle. We are a heavy RP guild focusing on the military and nobility aspects under King Danath Trollbane, represented in character by the four great duchies and the Crownlands.

Stromgarde is Rebuilding
After years of war and turmoil, the Arathi Highlands are again in a state of prosperity. Join us as we take part in restoring the glory to the North! Whether you are a commoner, scout, soldier, paladin, mage - or anything in between, we welcome you to discover the stories of the Kingdom of Stromgarde.

Six Focused Organizations

  • Crimson Hand: The holy order of paladins and clergy dedicated to spreading the Holy Light
  • First Circle: Our order of magic-related matters, named in honor of of the first one hundred human mages
  • Redcloaks: The ‘scouting’ organization of Stromgarde who may have more than meets the eye
  • Eagle Legion: The name of the Stromic armed forces
  • Hearthflame Expedition: Tasked with securing imperial aid, Captain Caius Maro and his detachment of the Arathi Expedition forge alliances with their distant, yet stubborn cousins of Old Arathor in the Kingdom of Stromgarde.
  • Stromic Church of the Holy Light: The Holy See of Stromgarde’s faithful.

Distinct Areas of Roleplay:

  • The Princpate: Led by the Council of Arathor, the Princpate is the government body underneath King Trollbane. Any noble is welcome to participate and if you’re not a noble, you can apply to be an Envoy of the Military, Faith or People!
  • The Chancery: The name of the government institutions in charge of things such as the Diplomatic Corps, Deptment of Taxation, Dept of Public Works and more! Come apply for one of our numerous government jobs!
  • The Duchies & More: has four distinct duchies that vary in atmosphere! Carthan, Estermont, Whitestone, and Thallan vary from high fantasy and gothic to inspiration from Rome. If you are not interested in that, work with us to carve out a place to make all your own within the Crownlands.
  • Military: As Stromics, we pride ourselves in our strength and might. The Legions of Stromgarde are legendary, and we have ongoing d20 and conquest-style stories to participate in.
  • Social: Own a business? Conduct trade? Just want to kick back and get to know other Stromics? KoS hosts ongoing social events and encourages players to be creative in bringing the Highlands to life!

Who Do We Accept:
As a guild focused on Eastern Kingdoms and Arathor roleplay, we welcome Humans, Arathi, Dwarves, Gnomes, High-Elves, and Worgens.

As a holy kingdom, we do not allow death knights or demon hunters at this time.

Kingdom of Stromgarde is the longest continually running Stromic-focused community with over 13 years of storybuilding and lore!

We are an 18+ guild, LGBT friendly.

I remember playing with Mathalian during Cataclysm - I got jumpscared seeing the same name, transmog and guild name in TBC Classic. It takes a lot of something to play the same dude for over a decade.
