[A] RP "hot spots"?

I haven’t RPed in a very long time, but I am looking to get back into it. WrA has always been a great place for RP; back in the day, you could always find RPers in places like Dalaran, Stormwind, Booty Bay, etc. Where are the hot spots of today? Is RP mostly found during events?

I don’t play Alliance, but I hear the Blue Recluse is the place to go for tavern RP. Mage and Cathedral districs for magic/merchant and any Light related stuff respectively. Old Town too- which I imagine is popular with Gnomes and Dwarves.

All in Stormwind of course.

Cathedral seems pretty dead these days. Might be the time that I am on contributing to that perception, otherwise everyone’s fled to the Mage Quarter and Old Town.

Also tend to be people wandering Lion’s Rest most evenings. Cat druids in particular like sitting by the waterfalls and other grassy areas. Less crowded than, say, in front of the Recluse in the Mage District, but still a fair few people.
