So I kind of wonder at times. Where do my Wings go when I am in my visage form ?
Like I loose a foot of hight and my wings but I keep my horns.
I know it is just a bit of nonsense but I do wonder about these types of things. Like Is my visage just a illusion or is it a second body that I store inside of some magie place inmy mind or someting.
And where do most of my cloths go ?
It’s all an illusion as far as I know. You hide your true form with dragon magic to appear mortal and approachable. At least thats the old explanation, the Dracthyr create their visages based on comfort more than mortal’s acceptance.
I don’t think there’s much more about it thats been explained other than, “it is dragon magic power, it is what they do, chyeah.”
Well visage is actually a complete transformation, for both dragons and dracthyr. Do you change every cell in your body? Probably, but there’s not much explanation about it in the game.
They go to the same place those huge colossal dragon bodies go when they take a Visage. It’s magic… stop killing the catgirls.
I will Engulf the catgirls to a nice BBQ crips and serve with a side of Potato salad.
It’s clearly not an illusion, that’s for sure.
However, we suffer from the lacking of a fleshed out lore behind it. I would guess the closest thing to it is druid shapeshifting, because also let’s not ignore that a brand new set of outfits appear in both forms.
I call that an advantage… Make your own lore, if Star Trek can get away with inconsistency, so can you. Mine is that the Visage is a complete separate body with the one not in use… elsewhere.
I think I kind of have to agree with this.
I do wonder, we clearly ware our armor, as the weapons and shoulder items say while the rest goes some place.
I just ponder were .
Magic. Dragons are magical
