The chest is a 13 ilvl upgrade, but the lowest ilvl offered. Also has haste, a bad stat.
The weapon offered is an EXACT 100% duplicate of the weapon I am currently wearing, that I got last week. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN.
The hood is what i am already wearing, but an ilvl upgrade, and bad stats for brewmaster (haste/mastery)
The ring is crit / haste with no socket
Blizzard, the great vault feels AWFUL. It is not rewarding. It is horrible to see duplicates. It it horrible that we can’t target our worst piece (my trinket) for an upgrade.

And I can’t post a screen shot, but I got 2 weapons (both ilvl downgrades), pants (same as I was wearing), Cloak (ilvl upgrade, but bad stats), and a trinket (ilvl upgrade and 1% DPS increase)
Not necessarily a guaranteed upgrade, but if I am going to random-roll a piece of loot, I would liek to be able to target the slot it is for. I have a 194 trinket that has excellent stats but is too low now.
I would like to “target” that slot to random roll a great vault piece. The great vault might give me a horrible trinket like the overcharged anima battery, but at least I have a better chance than RNG + RNG = duplicates of what I already have.
Absolutely. You’re time gated for a week with it, you did the content to fulfill the requirements for a piece of gear of that ilvl. Why shouldn’t it take into account the gear you’re wearing and offer a guaranteed upgrade?
I’m not sure if the vault should always guarantee an upgrade, but I do think we should have the power to influence it, kind of like we already do with the choice system.
They just need to go one step further (yes, I know, another system!!11) and make it so we can trade… I dunno, anima, or stygia, or soul ash, or SOMETHING to target a slot and increase the % chance of an item for that slot. Even if the cost was like a choice between currencies, that would still drive up /timeplayed BUT it would bring us closer to a guaranteed reward. This way the hard work would lead to more success.
First mistake is not clearing H CN. If your guild can’t do it, there are plenty of pugs that can at this point. Opens up 2 more slots up to 220 item level gear.
Second mistake is only doing +10s. You should be trying to do +14s at this point to secure 226s in those slots.
What you’re doing is easy content and complaining that you aren’t getting top tier rewards. Push harder content, get better rewards.

Even if I filled out all 3 of my heroic nathria slots, they still only offer 213, which is lower than M+ which is the content I enjoy doing

I would have to switch to windwalker and become competent enough at a spec I don’t play in content I don’t enjoy with an entirely new set of gear to collect gear for the content I DO enjoy which is PvE.
