Greetings Mr. Kaivax,
I think there might be an issue with the Pirate’s Plunder box. Either the tooltip information is worded incorrectly or the box is bugged. The past 24 hours I’ve attempted to put the Pirate’s Plunder box in my Warbank for an alt of mine to use, but every time I attempt to place it in my Warbank, it says it cannot be placed in the Warbank despite the fact the box says it is Warbound.
If it is Soulbound and the tooltip is wrong, then I guess I’ve learned a lesson. I’m really hoping it’s Warbound since the currency and the box you get out of the mailbox are Warbound. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Accumulated over 10k of plunder, Checked all my characters, and still no mail/coins.

So this isn’t fixed. Got the 5k and checked every single characters mailbox and no iteams. Is there any update on when this issue is getting fixed?

I logged onto and checked the mail on 24 characters.

I played a few games today to get 5k plunder, and bought the hooktalon mount. I also bought w/e pets that are available for this plunderstorm early on.

Sadly, this was posted 2 days ago and no follow-up, even with all the players here saying they didn’t get it. I assume there are more who posted in bug report or used the in-game support system.

Sigh…I’ll TRY to salvage this, as pointless as the gesture even is, to earn YET ANOTHER 5k because I want to honestly say I tried everything but no, I have not gotten mine. I bought the two new mounts so I definitely accumulated enough to qualify for it.

It didn’t even show I had mail. I got it, and then turned it in just so I can get the same item I already have. If it never shows up just think about getting it, and then getting a copy of an item you already have.

If it helps it turns up on the mail of the first toon you logged into right after it went live. So it may just be sitting on some other character.

I also beleive i heard the currency it gives is warband so it can be sent to alts if you don’t need it. I first logged into and alt so ended up with it there instead of my main so just used it without looking.

Unfortunately, this was not the case for me. There must be some other requirement that some players are not meeting, despite having amassed a good amount of plunder during 2.0.

Earned more than 5k, didn’t get it. Earned another >5k just to be sure and still nothing. Kinda feels like it just doesn’t work.

Classic Blizzard:

  • Announce new reward on a Friday
  • Don’t bother checking if it’s actually working in-game
  • Leave for the weekend

This, much like the cake, IS A LIE! I too have also earned more than 5000 plunder and there is no loot for me!
