A Message From Warcraft

I wish they would innovate and show some love to the Starcraft IP. There is so much wasted potential there.

I am not a young person.

Yes, as much as I always loved Chris’ appearances at Blizzcons, his gushing appreciation of Afasiabi at that Q&A left a bit of a bad taste for me. I tried to think that he just didn’t know and hoped i was right.

o better, the classic from classic consoles games like Lost Vikings, Blackthorne and Rock N’ Racing.

I wish they would do another sequel or a great remaster when Blizzard has been Silicon & Synapse.

I have this on my SNES.

And even has my name in it! obviously its my favorite racer too. :’)

Two factions dead, an atomized Arthas…disintegrating Dragonflights…need I go on?

Let’s hope Blizzard expands to other games that are in the dust.

Sometimes, no matter how big Warcraft, Starcraft, Overwatch and Diablo is, I see it as CAPCOM with only Resident Evil, Monster Hunter and Street Fighter, like few ideas having a company with more than just 3 or 4 video game franchise IPs.

They really need to make more games as long as they do it with love.

Yeah, if only people had been a little bit more cynical about Amber Heard, Johnny would still have a career. I honestly don’t think Chris owes anything to you or anyone else on the matter. He made his statement. Accept or not, then decide how you want to move on. Or, shut up about it.

DF is really good. Honestly, and I hate to sound so mean about it, but people like you need to leave. Your opinion isn’t helpful or wanted and you offer nothing positive about the game. If this isn’t good enough for you, nothing will be. Go somewhere else. We simply don’t want you here.

What’s ironic about people using this example is that there were sealed court documents in that lawsuit that, had they been allowed to be presented in court, would have more than likely painted Johnny Depp in a far uglier light.

I don’t think Chris owes me anything either. I was responding to someone who talked about forgiveness and learning and growth and only pointed out that Chris Metzen has done the absolute bare minimum in that regard. He published a Twitter apology, which is about the default reaction for any slightly notable person caught up in a controversy.

Yes, this nameless person who has no identity on their Twitter profile. Surely they are more credible.

Welcome back Chris Metzen, we of the whole WoW community missed you.

First day back, takes a look around and has a Jon Snow moment.
“This isn’t right…I shouldn’t be here…”

Welcome back, Metzen!! :purple_heart:

Nice job Microsoft. Maybe you can course correct after all.

This doesn’t mean anything though.

James Cameron was also brought on to “advise” terminator dark fate and that movie still sucked.

The core problems with wow’s story are at a fundamental level, and bringing back someone to come up with new ideas to stack onto a wobbly foundation won’t change that unless there is a complete overhaul.

I wonder what Metzen thinks of the last few expacs

Yes, that Chris. Alex and most of the folks with simular issues are gone, so it doesn’t matter as much now as it did back then. The past is the past and its best to move on with lessons learned.
