I’m hoping to build a library and would love to be able to stock the shelves with off-hand book weapons. Hiding the mannequins would let me do this.
It would probably cause some weird issues with gear displays though.
Are there any other good items that would be useful with a mannequin hide toggle? Pumpkin helmets from Halloween come to mind. Swords stuck into the walls. Floating staves. Propping up brooms and pitchforks, if they aren’t already available.
that does sound good, but at that point i’d just wish they’d add a item that lets you place a weapon or armour piece on it, sort of like how you can sink the Pet beds into the floor and the pet will still walk around
also there is an item called a Trophy rack already in the game, let us use that and just shrink it down
I look forward to using mannequins, and I’m sure plenty of people will use them as NPCs in their homes like they do other items already.
That said, I really hope we will be able to display our weapons by themselves in some fashion, so we can just place them on the wall, on a weapon rack, on a shelf, on the bed, etc. Their very first housing video shows weapons on the walls and leaning against things, so I’m sure they are working on it.
