If you want to change around your hallways without having to redo the rooms on the ends from scratch, just export them and reimport when your new hallways are ready and rooms are ready.
Best change of the article by far. How many times have I looked at my layout, wanted to change how the rooms are placed but have to decide between living with it or losing the potential hours of work on a room I can’t save.

No, its the beam color. If you set it to folk dark/light it will revert to folk medium every time you leave the house and come back in. Don’t even have to log out. Jusr zone out/in. Very annoying.

The visitor codes are a good solution for one reason people would want to visit a stranger’s house, but totally misses another core reason. We need to be able to visit each other without needing party “anchors” or bnet friending so that public events can be held. Other games (namely the main competition, FFXIV) allow you to just open your live, actual house for anyone to easily find via a neighborhood UI.
Roleplayers need this feature like, yesterday, to actually use housing to its fullest potential.

All great updates. Before we get showcases and invitation codes, however, can you guys find a way to save the hearthlight armillary settings and activate them when someone enters the housing instance?
I made this sweet haunted house with some puzzles, and it really falls apart with the base lighting.
Excited for all the coming updates tho.

I would love if you added to the hearthlight armillary a way to switch the Daylight Circle room to the Evening Circle room and vice versa. I took an entire build down once because I realized that the hearthlight armillary night functions didn’t work very well in the Daylight Circle room. But, if you could toggle between night and day, that would be great.

Suggestion on this feature:
We’re also in the early stages of something we’re calling Showcases, which gives players a way to submit their houses to an either timed or themed showcase as well as browse and visit houses that have already been submitted. While visiting a house in a Showcase, if you like it, you can leave an upvote. At the end of the Showcase, the houses with the most upvotes will earn a small trophy they can show off as decor.
Don’t tie rewards to it. And please DO NOT have a “featured” section that highlights the most rated houses.
The WORST part about the rewards and most liked featured houses in Palia’s version is that it turned into a cesspool of constantly begging people to vote, streams of people begging for votes and visits… and if you didn’t list your house at the very second the new week started, you had no chance in hell of getting any votes.
So just… be careful how you implement this.

Speaking of housing, I’ve found a bug where if you’re logged into two accounts at once and complete an endeavour task, the task flags as complete but you don’t get the house exp or coupon rewards.
This is gonna impact a lot of people for whom dualboxing is a normal part of their playstyle. Could you add some fallback where ‘missed’ rewards are added to the community chest trading-post style or something?
(Also, working portal decor we can use to create fast travel within our house pleeease)
I am just tired of the ad nauseum posting about housing multiple times a day.
Went from Ambivalent on it entirely, to just wanting nothing to do with it purely on the ad push.
Luckily someone in the forum helped me during a small crash out with information on other things happening in Midnight that are not receiving the same spotlight. I thank them.

I’d like to see more endeavor tasks with XP+coupons inside the neighborhoods, fewer tasks in Forbidden Reach/Mechagon. We’ve spent countless hours grinding in those zones so please, no more.
