I am hoping to move to Moon Guard to support the Horde side in the Overlord world pvp community. However, my name is taken by an invisible (to the armory) character on the Moon Guard realm. I’m very attached to this name. Obviously it’s an extremely long shot, but if the person saving the name Kupe sees this could you reach out? I would appreciate it. My battle tag is Cyrus#13885

You might try mailing Kupe in game, as well as looking at high level Kupe’s on other servers and mailing them on their home server. There’s also a name thread here, but it can be a bit overwhelming to use. Trade chat might also be helpful, and if you can think of anything else I’d love to hear your thoughts.
I wish you the best of luck. I’ll hopefully be on Moon Guard soon as well, although it might be a bit before I can actually play much.

You could name yourself Shmoopwah. It’s Old Gnomish for Kupe.

Thank you. I have tried mailing them. I looked at the name thread but it was a bit baffling, and I don’t have hundreds of thousands of gold unfortunately!
Thank you Pookamhura. I will consider this. Kupe is an ancestral name for my family, which is why I’m quite attached. Perhaps if I make a gnomish character I will use this transliteration.
Kupex just doesn’t quite hit the same. It feels a bit disrespectful to my antecedents. Thank you for the suggestion, though.
