Guild: Irritable Vowels

Faction: Alliance

Raid Days/Times: Wednesday/Thursday/Monday 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM (EST/Server)

Progression:

  • Sanctum of Domination - 6/10 H

  • Castle Nathria – 10/10 H

Loot Type: Personal of course, however it is encouraged to swap loot specs if you do not need loot from a certain boss

Recruiting: Mature players who are committed to raid 2 to 3 nights a week or people just looking for a guild

  • 5 to 7 DPS, 1 Priest Healer
    • WW Monk, DH, DK, Shaman, and/or Mage currently
      • Any DPS class/spec are encouraged to apply
  • If you’re not interested in raiding, and just looking for a laid-back guild to be in that is cool too

Guild focus: Raiding (Heroic/Mythic) and M+. Some do PvP regularly

Irritable Vowels is an Alliance guild of casual players that have had the same core group of 10ish players for several expansions now. We have traditionally cleared all Heroic raids, and pushed as many Mythic bosses possible. The guild is very easy going, but still focused on pushing the raiding content.

What is expected, and what casual raiding means to us:

  • Be on time for raid (15 to 20 minutes before raid time), stay the full 2 hours, and be respectful
  • Show up consistently. Real life happens, and it is understandable people can’t make it sometimes. We want dedicated members, and not just ones that log on to raid
  • Come prepared; food, flasks, potions, desolate armor kits, weapon oils, enchants, and Vantus Runes are required. Helpful guildies are very generous with helping those that might not always have time to get the above items, however it is expected to bring those
  • No one will tell you how to play your character here, but you are expected to maintain numbers that do not hinder/stagnate the group’s progression. Researching and executing mechanics while doing the substantial DPS is the goal
    • We generally only sit people 30 minutes before the end of raid (sometimes, not always), and do everything possible to avoid sitting someone. It happens though

When we’re not raiding, we run:

  • M+ keys. Currently most of the groups clear 14+/15+, and try to help everyone get as many runs each week for multiple options in the vault
  • Torghast Layer 12. Several tanks in the guild help those specs that struggle with Layer 12
  • PvP. There is not a scheduled day for it. If this interests you, we can point you to the members that PvP on a regular basis to form groups with
  • Dailies / Alt runs / etc

I can confirm these guys are great… Well all of them except that Teyssa guy. If you want a surefire way to get into the guild all you need to do is kill Teyssa then take a screenshot of you sitting on his face and send it to me…
