I haven’t read that, but a dual wielding ranger is okay by me!
In WoW terms - he’s a Night Elf Survival Hunter who dual-wields swords and has a black panther for his pet.
I asked Chatgpt:
When you get a tattoo, the “white blood cells” involved are actually called macrophages, a specific type of white blood cell that your body sends to the tattooed area to try and break down the ink particles as it views them as a foreign substance… … As macrophages die, new ones arrive to take their place, essentially “holding” the ink in place over time.
I wonder why survival doesn’t have dual wield. I miss when hunter was range and melee and not one or the other
In the same way that Legolas is a Blood Elf Marksman hunter with no pets.
That meaning that neither of them are actually either of those things but nerds will nerd.
I didn’t. And that’s not the entire research behind it. If you want to copy paste it, feel free. If not, also feel free not to.
Be sure to post the people and studies that suggests that it stimulates the immune system. Don’t leave that out.
lol now I have to ask, are YOU trolling?
Legolas had a dwarf.
By choosing to play MM you are already choosing to play a spec that is optimally played without a pet.
For most hunters this is a better change simply from not having to keep a pet around just for lust. I understand this as someone who doesn’t even play MM but this change looks interesting enough to give it a try.
For sure, I don’t like that some classes CAN wield certain types of weapons per their Weapon Skills trait, but can’t actually use them in practice. Like, Hunter CAN dual-wield, but all their abilities require either a 2-handed weapon or a ranged weapon, so dual-wielding is just for RP purposes. Same for Enhancement Shaman. They CAN equip 2-handed weapons, but 3/4 of their kit requires dual-wielding.
He had a few humans and Gnomelings as well. Whatever they are. The little people with potatoes.
Real question is why BM doesn’t, our most recognizable (unless you’re a dev) example of one dual wields axes.
Huh. Good point. So you’re right he wasn’t MM, he was BM.
I wonder if its disheartening to make new combat animations involving a eagle getting prepped to show off a new updated spec that has been in a awful spot for several expansions now just for people who struggle in normal mode to rip it apart. All because they dont wanna give up their portable tank.
Now I miss hatchet toss:c
Is like expecting Blizzrd to make good decisions instead of silly ones.
…and this is a silly one.
[glares Rexxar-ly]
On the note of Rexxar, i will say that since he is a BEASTMASTER, BM shoulda been the melee spec.
smh Blizz
Yeah, those poor developers. On the bright side, once the hunter pet for MM is gone, there will still be people to make generalizations about, look down on, and snipe at.
So, look on the bright side. Be of good cheer.
it mystifies me, that they can both simultaneously make one of the most asked for features, return for the first time in years, while simultaneously doing something so backwards that nobody ever asked for. It’s almost like there’s a cosmic law that they HAVE to go two steps back for every good foot forward…
Just goes to show, most of the people they have have quit since Legion, none of them even really seem to grasp even the basic lore and world building of their own product anymore.

I’m going to pour one out for them tonight. This is right up there in my concerns with the Broncos choking last night.
Losers.
Hunter only had melee options because they couldn’t shoot in melee range and a few yards beyond. Melee was only ever meant as a last resort or as a way to try to get back to range.
