I have played since vanilla and battle pets was my reason for returning to WoW after a 4 year “break” after WotLK. I continue to play now since then mostly for solo play. Battle pets are my main priority now that I am older in my age and do not raid anymore. PLEASE, Blizzard, DO NOT phase out battle pets!!! do you realize how much time and money we collectors have spent on this part of the game?!
